Surprised so many have de gea in there tbf, his highs have been exceptional but he’s had a lot of lows and inconsistency

He is in 50% of the PFA team of the years over the decade. Picking anyone else is ridiculous

I'm not looking at longevity, but players based on their best season;

-------------VDS
Azpi----Vidic----VVD---Evra
-------------Kante
----------Toure--Silva
Bale--------Aguero-----Hazard

"The most consistent player of the decade arguably"

Even in his good seasons he would go missing for months. He's rarely been consistent for a full season let alone a whole decade

KDB for Toure was a tough one. Think Toure was an absolute beast for a couple of years but if you're looking for balance in that 11 you'd probably switch them.

What’s he won? He probably hasn’t played in the cl much in those years. You got to factor in the Utd bias for the pfa awards too. Rooney over drogba 2010 for example.,

He won the league twice. He has won PFA gk of the yr 5 times. Or are you just going on team awards?

Depends what you consider consistent. Like I say has the most goal contributions. Probably most motms, most chances created etc. Won more than anyone individually. Just cos you don’t like him doesn’t mean what your saying true. Whose been more consistent?

Bit of both. Didn’t realise he won 5 though. Crazy

He makes the team just as De Gea makes the team imo.

Utd would midtable long ago if it wasn't for De Gea.

The problem with the teens is that half the decade has been a transition period not just for the big teams but the league as a whole. We're only now emerging into what can be described as an era.

Bit of both...so League twice, fa cup, LC and winning it 5 times isn't enough?

This.

If you make the team from 2014 onwards, it's much more straight forward.

The expectations of Hazard are the reason people call him inconsistent

He was unplayable in certain stretches and then very good in others which causes this idea

Also hes never had pure finishing ability but makes up for it in assists

Yeah I think theres definitely an era starting with Roman buying us and Fergies late noughties side which ends in about 2014. Arsenal vs Utd is the era before that

It doesnt really fit into the decades that well

If you want it to be more balanced then maybe you drop Kane but otherwise players like Bale shouldn't really get in over him. Kane's been top class for 5 straight seasons...looking like 6.

when will hazard be lambasted by madrid fans like bale is
