Great ambition from Matt in that quote, I would play our strongest available team for this one
Ryan Bennett not fit enough to travel for this game but one player who has joined the squad is young midfield player Taylor Perry who made a good impression in the pre season trip to China
Newcastle’s best player this season has been Fabio Scharr but he picked up an injury in their last game and will not be fit for the game against Wolves on Sunday
Two qualify from the groups and with Wolves currently 3rd we can’t really afford to lose tonight’s game if we want to still be in the competition in the new year. The next two games are against Slovan away then home and we need to get at least 4 points out of those games.
Besiktas went into the group as the highest ranked team but have lost their first two games. They are at home to Braga tonight and it would probably help us if they beat them
Much as I don't like a back row without Bennett I would go with this tonight:
.................... ........Pat
.........Willy............Coads..............Roman
Doc..........Donc....Mouti......Nevs........Jonny
..............Adam.......Jimi.......Jots
I’d go with that too Gem, but sadly we can only field 11 players
That would certainly be a good team to field gem. Just have to hope UEFA don’t notice we have 12 players on the field

Wrong thread DJ, I'll post that one tomorrow. Remember Nuno's rule: One game at a time

Agggggg! A bit early DJ, brain not engaged.
I'd go without Traore to start with and use him as a sub in the second half.
I'll try again

UEFA an utter disgrace again I see
Here, the PA news agency puts the spotlight on the Slovakian champions.
European history
While Bratislava currently top Group K, they have recently struggled in Europe.
They lost nine straight group games - a competition record - before their 4-2 opening win against Besiktas this season.
This season, the Slovakian champions lost a penalty shoot-out against Montenegro's Sutjeska in the Champions League first qualifying round but made it through Europa League qualifying, beating Ireland's Dundalk and surprising PAOK in the play-off.
Coach
Jan Kozak is not a household name in England, unless you are a West Brom fan who remembers his brief spell at The Hawthorns.
The former attacking midfielder played six times for the Baggies in the Premier League during the 2005-06 season.
Slovan Bratislava v Wolves: Joe Edwards and Luke Hatfield preview
His limited impact and Albion's relegation meant he returned to Artmedia Petrzalka.
It is his first season in charge at Bratislava, and his first senior job, having previously managed the club's B team.
One to watch
Striker Andraz Sporar has scored 14 goals in all competitions for Bratislava this season. He has notched in both of his Europa League group games this term, twice against Besiktas and once in the 2-2 draw with Braga.
The Slovenia international, who joined from Basel in 2018, had a trial at Tottenham as a youngster and has stated his dream is to play for Liverpool.
Form
Bratislava have lost just once domestically this season, a 5-2 defeat to Dunajska Streda last month.
They are still top of the Fortuna Liga by two points, ahead of MSK Zilina, and have scored 13 goals in their last three domestic league and cup matches.
Last season's title was won comfortably - 17 points ahead of Dunajska Streda.
Nuno has proposed that all the children that attend the game tonight are given information by UEFA explaining the reason they are there and educating them about racism. Don’t suppose that will happen but that seems a good way of addressing things for the future

To be fair UEFA think a behind closed door game is anything up to 20,000 people so one extra player shouldn't be a problem.
their racist trash will think they've won with the game being played to a full house.
any racist abuse tonight and i hope we walk off.
Rui
Kilman
Coady
Boly
Doc
MGW
Saiss
Moutinho
Vinagre
Jimenez
Cutrone
A few surprises there!
Bench:
Neves
Jota
Jonny
Ruddy
Perry
Dendoncker
Traore
The thing that I find most odd about that line up is that Nuno clearly thinks we can get a result whilst resting a few players, so why not throw Ruddy in there to get him warmed up for the Villa game next week.
I know you're waiting for me to reveal the Bratislava line up too.....here we go:
Greif
Medvedev (wasn't he prime minister of Russia once?)
Abena
Bozhikov
De Marco Morlacchi
Ibrahim
de Kamps
Daniel
Holman
Rharsalla Khadfi
Sporar
Id suggest a sweep on how many minutes Saiss lasts before his hammy goes again, but I'm clearly on my own here this evening.
Will his hammy goes before he gets a yellow or maybe even a red?
Pleased to see Kilman get his chance, looks ready and a good prospect. I presume Boly will play on the right.
Hope we see Gibbs White produce a performance
Killman starts at the back
