They are the best group of youngsters in the country for me. I have never heard of any of them.
The biggest issue they'll have is a lack of role models and leaders in the dressing room. This also means it isn't as easy coming into a side with a settled 9/10 players in the starting lineup, the chances they are getting are in poor sides.
We have got a good crop. McT is a squad level player already. I see him as a Fletcher type, but could be wrong. Greenwood I think will make a top player. Next level down for me (in terms of how confident I am that they will make it at United) are Garner and Axel. Next level down is Gomes and Williams. Gomes I think will leave and go to Barca or somewhere. Then it is Chong. I don't think that he has what it takes, but could be wrong. If we end up with 2 regulars and 2 squad players out of that lot we will have done well.
GW isn't ready yet to be a first team regular. He is a better finisher than Rashford but Marcus looked more at home.
Williams will make it as a great utility player at Utd
McT is getting better with every game. Much better with the ball at his feet than I thought he ever would be.
Hopefully James can step up a few levels over the next couple of seasons.
Gomes' contract is ticking down. Probably not happy at seeing Lingard and Mata getting his minutes.

greenwood is the only one who i could imagine might be very good, but he is 18, so we have no clue as to how he will develop.
---------------
I really like the look of Garner and Axel. Still haven't seen enough of them, but they both seem to have something about them. Garner impressed me yesterday when he came on.
Rashford, at 21, is still in with the kids too. Him and McT are doing incredibly well really. Just having two academy players in any first team is very respectable, but looking at Tuanzebe, Williams, Greenwood Perriera and the others, we have quite a crop coming through.
McTominay is a strange one, looks like he's got his boots on the wrong feet when he plays for Scotland, then so does John McGinn and both have had some good games in the PL.
I doubt he'll ever be top class but certainly looks an able squad player.

He's putting in top performances most games. Even when we are struggling, he's a shining light. Think he could be a fair bit more than a squad player tbh

Agreed. I'd already put McTominay ahead of Gibson.
Like I said in the OP. We suddenly have an exciting bunch of kids to watch. Add 4 or 5 top quality signings over the next 2 windows and we could have a very good squad.
If we can get 2 top quality midfielders in the summer I'd flog Pogba and go with the 2 new additions plus McTominay Fred, Pereira and Garner.

Personally I think Pogba is dragging this Iury out ahead of a Jan transfer request / move

I thought Real were short of money?
Getting a bit nervous about Gomes' contract situation, hopefully, he's only letting it run down to put himself in a better bargaining position come the summer? But with every intention of actually signing a deal, it would be a shame to see him walk for nothing.
I think Tuanzebe is better than Lindelof, Jones and Rojo tbh, looks very accomplished defensively and on the ball, it'll be interesting to see him play CB against a higher standard of opposition than he has been of course.
McTominay and Rashford are at worst, good squad options, Marcus had his chance to play through the middle and it's fair to say he didn't really take it, maybe his future does lie as a left-winger after all?
We really need a dependable left-back who can give us some balance, I think we should sell Shaw as he's lazy, but also spends a lot of time out of the team injured, a few games into the new season and we were already lining up with Young at LB. Williams, again, should at least be a back-up to a good LB.
Pereira, meh.
