How nice to find a football-related thread, populated (in the main) by reasonable, similar-minded posters.
As it is a home game, I may be in with a chance of posting the team news, depends how busy the Vidal is at 2pm.

My phone is only marginally smarter than me so I will not be able to provide team news as will be en route to the game. So this is Ang's chance to shine.

In addition to whingeing fans complaining about what is served up as entertainment we also have whingeing fans who are apparently unable to negotiate on-line ticket purchasing. They remind me of those hapless individuals in supermarkets, staring in bewildered fashion at the self checkout screen and occasionally looking around helplessly for the help that never materialises. We can only hope that with a new government there might be an increase in social care funding that can provide Spart with the 24-hour care he so desperately needs.

Can someone please remind me about Anya. How much does he "earn" and why can't he play for us? I'd forgotten his name till I read this post.

Superstar Scot, reason for not playing long lost in the mists of time. Doesn't earn anything, but will be paid lots. He will return.

I see Stoke have sacked yet another manager. They might as well bite the bullet and re employ Tony Pulis and forget about sexy football. Although they might have forgotten that when they poached GR away.

Always like a chuckle about Stoke, although I've got plenty to think about at PP. I think the club are a shambles and it's time it was sorted and the first thing would be to sack the other two. There is no team spirit now, I wonder if Cocu can get it back? Probably not with his miserable persona, but we can hope. UTR.

I was hoping that Dooowayne would kick on this year ... but from what I’ve seen on the telly box he seems to have dropped off a bit.

Very likely, but he isn't the player he was last season. Maybe something to do with the lack of Mount and Wilson up front.

He will start firing when Wayne comes in Jan...It's the Wayne and Dwayne show.....

By the way Hinton, don't expect too much excitement for your first game for a while. Cocu likes the team to play in the same way as he does his interviews...boring.

We always have plenty of possession, generally in our own half. Not quite as bad as in the days of Paul Clement but getting there.

Progressed right out the door ... didn’t renew in 2018 And stuck to our guns even when Lampard was announced .

The whole money go round Managers every second week. And some dreadful players just got to us all after decades

I’m still a fan and care ... but they don’t control me anymore

When we go to a match now we enjoy the day out and can’t say that was the case much when we had our season tickets.

Under 23s came back to draw 2-2. Unlucky not to win. Sibley again the stand-out player.
