At the end of the day, these songs are considered offensive because of the country we live in and the people who have no tolerance for Irish Catholics.
If that didn't exist, neither would the songs.
I didn't notice anything ontoward from the GB today. They sang non sectarian songs and did the huddle thing.

AB, like so many others have said take that and protest at Holyrood. I am a proud Celtic fan who was brought up in the West of Ayrshire Church of Scotland. The political songs that are sung both offend and embarrass me.
If they were only protesting about being able
Keny.
Apparently it's "aggressive" waving of flags.
This PC stuff does my nut in.
whats the problem with that? fans cant stand? fans cant wave flags? no singing?
++++
I'm still there to watch the Celtic, whether I can sing, wave a flag or whatever...the distraction is not needed.
I would much prefer they were concerned with what's going on on the pitch than off it.

...being able to stand, then I can see their point. Problem is that the council Health & Safety Polis have threatened to shut the ground if it happens. That would REALLY help the club...

And well done you Zachsda. Unfortunately, not everyone in Scotland thinks like you though, over 150,000 members in Scotland of a certain organisation are testemant to that.

A man goes to the doctors for his wife's test results.
Mr Smith -"I'm here for Mrs Smith's test results."
Receptionist : "Oh I'm sorry Mr Smith, there's been a problem. We have two sets of test results for a Mrs Smith and we don't know which belongs to your wife...I'm afraid it's bad news or terrible news. One test shows Alzheimer's Disease, the other shows Aids!"
Mr Smith: "That's awful! What should I do?"
Receptionist: "The doctor suggests you drop her off in the middle of town. If she finds her way home, don't sh@g her."
tcd first let me know how u get on at octoberfest, im dyin to try it
secondly, fair play if u want to just go and watch the game, but imo standing and singing adds to the day / night as part of the atmosphere
