Re OP.

Not seen it & won't as it's not my genre.

Not watched any of Godfather, Goodfellas, Tale of NY etc.

New 'additions' to our extended family all say they don't believe that.

Which in itself I find a bit weird.

'No no - you M U S T have watched GF 2'.

I haven't.

From what I hear it's a technically accomplished movie.

But mainly an old pals' act where they all had a lot of fun.

No harm in that.

My youngest son has taken the Tolkein etc fantasy stuff affa me.

His partner is brill even tho she comes fae Ayrshire.

Smart woman uni educ on good dough.

She hadn't heard of JRR Tolkein & he was gonna chuck her.

Heard of the movie franchise but knew fvk all about it.
