Unfortunately, we live in a society who would rather point fingers at others when things like this happen. This is as much a part of the problem as the racism itself.

No. It’s actually those who choose to do or say nothing that is much a part of the problem.
Apologists, appeasers and deniers.
It is a society thing, racism, not just football. To be expected really when you have an openly racist PM who will happily say racist things without a second thought. Racism will get worse over the coming years, now they have a Government that will give them carte blanche to say and do what they want without fear of punishment. The Muslim community for one, are in for an absolutely torrid time I am afraid.

Problem is mate to many in the country are openly backing the racist comments of the PM against the Muslim Community. The Press are also happy to paint the leader of the Opposition as an overt racist, even though he has never to my knowledge ever uttered a racist comment in his life, whilst openly endorsing the PM to say racist things, and back him without ever questioning what he says.
So why is anybody surprised a few idiots at a football match mimic the prime minister.

Perhaps you might be blaming the victim, or hoping that this action never really occurred?
Either way, your comment suggests that you more likely be might part of the problem as opposed to the solution?
Hopefully, a club of great historical significance, will handle this professionally in tandem with the FA and law enforcement officials!
I am hoping that this did not happen and the player misinterpreted the booing as monkey chants. The club will conduct a thorough investigation which will include emailing supporters in that area for their observations, looking at videos and social media etc. Unfortunately this will take weeks to conclude and even if there is no supporting evidence the club's supporters are already labelled as racist.

That is because it is the first time a player has complained to the referee since the protocol has been in place. The system is therefore working. It is just a shame that some people want to assume guilt before any investigation is completed.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yep.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Problem is mate to many in the country are openly backing the racist comments of the PM against the Muslim Community.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
a PM reflects a country Sandy.... a country doesn't follow a PM's behavior.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That`s not correct mate. Johnson saying what he does, emboldens racists 100 per cent.

is there actually any evidence yet to support these claims? would have thought the CCTV would have caught the guy straight away if he was doing monkey gestures/chants.....
or maybe rudiger is a lieing caaant and it never actually happened?
watch this space..

It happened. The club appealed THREE times over the PA system for it to stop.

That is the protocol when an allegation is made. It is not proof. It may well have happened but it needs to be investigated properly.

Actually it’s the first time that’s ever happened at a football stadium in this country.

That is because it is the first time a player has complained to the referee since the protocol has been in place. The system is therefore working. It is just a shame that some people want to assume guilt before any investigation is completed.

I am definitely not your mate. Please refer to the latest club statement for an example of how to treat an incident like this and not your own guilty without an investigation view.

Yeah, I’ll stick with the black players who were racially abused and had objects thrown at them, and not some mealy mouthed club statement.
Inconclusive my ar$e.
