Oh dear what's up Gem? You're not pregnant again are you?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Nah, busted ribs and a punctured lung pal.
De Bruyne and Aguero both start
31Ederson
2Walker
25Fernandinho
30Otamendi
22Mendy
17De Bruyne
16Rodri
20Bernardo Silva
26Mahrez
10Agüero
7Sterling
Where's Herbert? I would have expected some 'lambs to the slaughter' and 'Wolves will be down to 10 men within 15 minutes' comments by now.
Must be busy tuning in his radio
He doesn’t come now he’s been exposed
Not as Herbert anyway
Why is Mahrez not booked for a dive? His leg was not taken out yet he collapses as if he was scythed down π‘
Sounds like a lot happening!
The penalty highlights what a farce VAR is. Dendoncker had his hand on Mahrez's shoulder. He didn't push or pull him and then Mahrez goes down clutching his leg. Absolutely fecking ridiculous. Then to top it off VAR gives them a second chance to score when the ref had no problem with it. It really is ruining the game and needs a radical change in the way that it's used.
That's absolutely disgraceful
Wolves currently 61% possession.
8 shots to 3
1 corner to 0
3 fouls to 6
But thanks to VAR 0 goals to 1

I'm a liverpool fan so I would prefer City lost, yet your comment is beyond stupid.
Dendonker clearly stands on Mahrez foot. There will always be debate on subjective decisions but it was a clear penalty for me.
As for the retake - the rules are extremely clear. If both teams encroach then the penalty is retaken. This is not even up for debate. Both teams encroached and then penalty needed to be retaken.
The only reason you think VAR is a farce is because it has given some decisions that you dislike, despite them being correct. Speaks more of your maturity levels.
We’ve been on the receiving end of both sides of var this season
The league has said stepping on the foot will be a pen. And that encroaching will be a pen if it affects the outcome (he cleared it) at least they are applying the rules as they have said they would, it’s not necessarily var that’s the problem, it’s the rules it’s enforcing
P.s tell me if I’ve missed something here. But in the build up to the red, should the referee dropping the ball back to your defence after an injury to both sides be seen as an opportunity to start a counter attack?
Penalty was (accidentally) standing on Mahrez foot, seemed sufficient to knock him off balance. Retake was because Coady’s foot was on the penalty area line (not in the box then?) so seemed encroachment.
Neither deemed noteworthy by Atkinson, don’t think either were clear or obvious.VAR yet again not being used how intended.
I’d be more accepting if the on-pitch ref reviews the decision, but as it stands it’s a farce and ruining the games.
Have we had a VAR decision in our favour yet..?
