Fantastic game to watch live. Electric atmosphere and pretty much non stop action from start to finish. In the last two home games against Spurs and City, Wolves have looked every inch a top six side, all we need is a deeper squad which we will take steps to having in January.
But whether decisions are right, wrong or indifferent, nobody will persuade me that VAR is good for the game
What a game, would have loved watching that as a neutral but to be there and come out on top was almost worth the season ticket money in itself. Really felt like we beat the system as well as the opposition.
Having watched the sending off back I might have been annoyed if that had gone against us so I reckon VAR went in our favour for once there but the Mahrez foul was ridiculous. Everyone bar the VAR ref is thinking the c*** should be booked for diving. Don't have so much of a problem with the encroachment as that is not subjective.
The game became incredibly one sided after the sending off but we had to work very hard to get the goals. What a player we have now in Traore. Great break and finish for his goal and made an absolute mug of Mendy and B Silva I think it was to put the equaliser on a plate for Raul.
Lovely combo between Raul and doc for the winner and don't forget Rui saved two pens. What a night, I've hit a large whiskey on the go and it might not be the last.
Oh and got the Manchester train home, some of them are rather poor losers has to be said .

THAT WAS FECKIN AWESOME!!!!
Absolutely delighted when I found Emirates actually show live sport so got to actually watch the game at 37,000 feet, who knew. Difficult you remain calm at times.
That result and performance ranks as my second favourite of all time after the play off win, incredible stuff and even at two nil down I felt it wasn't over and we wanted it bad. You can keep your pride stonewalling for 0-0s, that there oozed pride.

So many good performances on the Wolves side but Dendoncker, Neves, Moutinho and Jiménez were all outstanding. Traore actually hardly got into the game first half but blew them away after the break. This is an outstanding Wolves team who may well improve on last season’s 7th. 2020 another year to look forward to for sure
