Well that's not realistic or feasible. Levy never sells unless he gets what he thinks is fair value.
Poch asked for a couple of years for these players to be sold and it never happened.
We're stuck with this sorry lot I am afraid.
I disagree with your assessment of Gazzaniga ... I think he's a good keeper.
It has been obvious to one of the meanest intellect for over a year that our CBs were aging and the backs have never been good enough ever since Walker was sold.
Sanchez was Levy's cut price replacement, and ... he is not going to make the top class grade.
We have aquired one very good midfielder, NDombele, and one questionable midfielder, Lo Celso.
So.... we need to replace ...
Vertonghen, Alderweireld, Aurier, Davies, Sanchez, and ....
we need a back-up for Kane... ever since the Dybala deal didn't work out.
I count a shopping list of at least 6 top class players.
Does anyone think ENIC is going to pay for that?

The point I was trying to make is you don’t need to throw money at a problem.
Our back line cost £82m

I’m not even suggesting it has to cost the earth tbf just needs good scouting to get the right players.
Ferguson on a free from wba in the summer would be a good signing but also Rúben Dias for £80m would be good business for our defence.

Spurs like Arsenal looks like utter tripe in defence but for example are your CB really any worse then say Jonny Evans? Put a top class DM like Kante or Ndidi in front of them and many of these issues would disappear.
Put Evan's in the Spurs or Arsenal team and play the same way and hed look like a fish out of water get caught evry game. Play the tight formation and any defence can look decent ish
