He has signed for Dortmund.

So he has.

Announced by Dortmund already.

£18m haha

We don’t get out of bed for £18m

BILD were spot on, as it happens

£18m.

We should have been all over that. Madness.

Think if we go for Sancho it would solve a lot of problems. Martial, Rashford and Greenwood as CF options isnt bad provided we have reliable wingers.

Alternatively would love Werner but that has Liverpool all over it I think...

Signing this bloke would have hampered Greenwood’s development. We need to invest in some midfielders and defenders

Poor Ole can't even sign a Norwegian

I wonder if Dortmund are preparing to sell someone...

I'm not fussed on this one... We need an AMF/#10 and RW, not muddying the waters for our strikers. Martial is our main man now, with Greenwood hot on his heels and Rashers as backup (prefer him on the left)

Signing a goalscoring wide player would ease the burden a bit but I think for now, we could still do with another striker.

I tend to agree that signing Haaland would've caused us some issues with Martial and Greenwood although I think it remains to be seen what position Greenwood will develop in long term and Martial has to keep working hard because as well as he's been doing for us, there's still something about him that makes me doubt him.

Sancho would be my first choice, failing that I would love Ziyech. We're set for genuine pace in attack, what we lack is a more skilful forward who can offer a bit of trickery and guile.

Wouldn't mind looking at Mitrovic if we're after a target-man type.

Sensible choice for him, they’ve shown they give youth a chance and develop. He’ll also be allowed to move onto a bigger club if he shows his potential. United clearly tried but we weren’t the right fit for him now, totally understand his choice.

Hopefully this means Sancho is available, although I feel like Chelsea seems like his likely destination.

Martial is not a striker for me, although he can perform well there on occasion. Greenwood is not ready to be leading the line every week. I doubt you can sign Sancho when you couldn't even sign Haaland over Dortmund.

I know this is a semi-wum, but it’s a serious point.

Moyes signed Fellaini despite it being his first transfer window. And it was because he couldn’t attract the players. People may blame Ed, but he got the deals done for vG and Mou, so....

Now Solskjaer is struggling to sign the big names.

I’m convinced we missed out on some players due to him being very inexperienced at the top level.

Strange one really if he’s that good. Dortmund a good side but not top tier are they?
Maybe sensible for him as he won’t be a bench warmer? Maybe none of the big boys were truly interested.

Would love us to try for Jimenez

Probably a sensible choice for him. Moves to a better league where he believes he can play every week at a team better than United but not so good, like Juventus where he may not play enough.

Explains a lot although does seem strange after Solskjaer came out a couple of weeks ago saying he knew of Haaland's decision.

I doubt it's got anything to do with Solskjaer. Erling's father cannot stand Utd after his run-in with Keane. I imagine this might have contributed to Erling's decision.
