I don`t see other teams just saying it is a defeat when the come up against Liverpool. They have had loads of narrow one goal wins this season. They have only scored 11 more goals than Spurs, but have got 10 more wins, so they are hardly blowing sides away.

Spurs have more than enough going forward to really worry their back four. I am confident of getting something out of the match. Certainly am not going to hoist the white flag before a ball has been kick. Never have done, never will.

Huge defeat incoming. Jose just can’t get us to perform in the big games
----------------------------------------------------------------------

He`s only had two. One at home and one away. And let`s be fair not many managers have had any success over both Chelsea and Man United over the past 30 seasons. Oh and and he did get a decent, if lucky win at Wolves.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So 3 games with 3 awful performances and getting one very lucky win out of it.

So I was right he doesn’t get us playing in the big games ( tbh the small games too the performances haven’t been great bar Burnley)
----------------------------------------------------------------------

West Ham and Bournemouth were both good, until the last 10 minutes of each game.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
West Ham was a 70 minute performance and Bournemouth was a pinball game that was never under control even being 3-0.

Burnley is the only satisfying performance

Even if we play well, and look like beating Cheaterpool, VAR will no doubt come to their rescue, as it has done all season long.

I won`t be putting money on Spurs that`s for sure, we can`t defend for toffee and VARpool play with 13 men most weeks.

Would be amazed if our joke defence concedes less than 3.

jose will park the bus and hit us on the break.

Son and Moura are perfect for this type of plan so it should be an interesting encounter.

wouldn't be disappointed with a draw

Liverpool have had all the luck going past two seasons since we gubbed them 4-1 at Wembley

...

----------------------------------------------------------------------
You mean the only time you have beaten Liverpool in the last 16 encounters.

The last time Spurs beat Liverpool prior to that Wembley game was over 7 years ago.

That will require us to defend in a manner not seen in 2 years and for Liverpool to play their worst game in over a year...... all on the same day..... aint gonna happen mate.... Everyone loves coming to our fancy new stadium for the first time... especially for a big, high profile game !!!!! The opposition like it more than our guys

Not necessary, football don`t work like that. Norwich beat City this year. On the day anything could happen. Spurs could have one of those days we all know they are capable of. Spur going forward are every bit as good as Liverpool, just need to get off on the front foot. Not sure Klopp has that great a record over Mourinho.

Anyway not long to go, the game will be with us shortly, so we will see who was right.

Sometimes, I believe this would be the best way to get the best out of Kane, when he is wound up and raring to go.
He is lethal but seems to coast through a lot of the games, until like 60/70th mins and is always a cert to start, even when not firing on all cylinders.
Also, in big games, recently , he's been going awol.

Don't start with Kane, but bring him on later in the game.
To start the game, I'd defo play Son and Moura, and station them up behind their TAA and Robertson. Whenever their full backs are attacking there is space behind them, and that would suit us with long balls to Son/Lucas. Keep Son and Lucas hogging the touch line.
This will nullify their FBs, like United did to them. United were wasteful though.
