A football match at 3pm on a Saturday. Whatever next!

Benny Ashley Seal who made his debut against Utd on Saturday is likely to be loaned out for the rest of the season

Tranmere played at a Premier League ground on Saturday so experienced VAR for the first time. They have already had more favourable VAR reviews than Wolves have had this season

Wolves have signed another one for the future with 17 year old centre back Nigel Lonwijk joining from PSV

I hope we sign someone in their twenties this time. I'm all for talented youth but right now we need some players that can hit the ground running. We need to strengthen the senior squad not the development squad.

Newcastle have been going through an injury crisis in recent weeks with 6 first teamers unavailable and another two rested for the cup tie last weekend at Rochdale. But every one of those players are going to be available for the trip to Molineux on Saturday

Not too worried by that. They have only won 3 games on the road all season.
Mind you 2 of them were against Spurs and Sheffield United

Going to give the replay a miss. I suspect we will field a much changed team. Important games against Newcastle and Southampton before and after.

Doncaster took an early lead in their league match against Shrewsbury tonight with a goal from Niall Ennis. He has established himself in their team playing as a lone, and loan, striker

Willy Boly back kicking footballs at the training ground. Should be back in contention later in January

If anyone still wants a ticket for Saturday's game there are just 2 seats left. They are in the Steve Bull Upper W9

Games against Newcastle always seem to be tight close affairs these days, they rarely give up the points without a fight. I dont see this being too different, though if we can avoid going a goal down it bound to help. Cant remember the last time we beat them at home, unless it was the day we hammered Keegan's side 6 something with a Mutchy hat trick, I definitely remember that.

Last time we beat them at home was on the 5th January 2003. An FA cup game that ended 3-2. Prior to that we beat them 1-0 on 10th April 1993 in Div 1

Sounds like Jota is going to be out for weeks. At least Boly will be back early Feb.

Oh ar, I remember the cup game as well now you mention it, we had some fun with Craig Bellamy that day

17 years since a home league victory though, lets hope we put that right tomorrow.

U23s lost 1-0 at home to Blackburn tonight. They are going to need a few good results to avoid relegation to the second tier of U23 football now.

Saw part of the game on Wolves tv and Otasowie looks a good player in the making

Not surprised they are struggling for wins, all the best players are either with the senior squad are going out on loan.

After Sheff Utd winning last night courtesy of another daft var decision, Wolves sit 8th in the league. Every chance we will end the weekend back in the top 6 if we win today though. We would go back above the Blades and Spurs without Kane surely won’t beat Liverpool. We could go 5th if Utd fail to win at home to Norwich
