Starting to negotiate other trade deals.

Move on from the Brexit question and deal with other UK matters now we know the timetable.

You just don't want to see positives whereas I'm well aware of a lot of the short to term downside.

Oh yay, multiple third rate trade deals, how inspirational.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Have they all been negotiated and decided upon too?

Wow. Things have moved fast.

Anyway. I’m here for some fun and nonsense. Not to re run the whole Brexit thing again.

Done to death until something changes.

Satire.

Although I admit it’s hard to tell these days.

No an actual benefit that is tangible.

It's fine if you cant.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

If you choose not to see the benefits in agreeing trade deals with other countries then I’m afraid there’s not much else to say really.

So as I’ve already stated quite correctly you just don’t want to listen to any positives. Point proven. Thanks.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

We havent agreed any trade deals.

Could list one single tangible benefit from the last 3.5 years please?

As said, it's fine if you can't but Tory spin makes you look an ass so probably best to just hold your hands up.

No.

But a couple have already been chucked back in our face. Seems the rest of the world are not actually clamouring to deal with us at all.

Yep.

We can get on with U.K. matters now that it’s been decided.

And as I’ve said I’m not really interested in regurgitating the same tired old insults and pathetic attempts at holier than thou put downs with suggesting that someone’s political beliefs makes them an ass in your all knowledgable eyes.

So if it’s a wee anonymous internet win you’re looking for then be my guest. It’s all yours. Enjoy it as I enjoy being part of the majority of this country who wanted change in the EU and back to a more common market status but couldn’t get it so voted to leave whilst at best fully understanding the costs and difficulties we may face in the future.

Have fun

I just asked a question which you seem unwilling or unable to answer.

You seem quite keen not to record a wee anonymous internet loss.

You could just have the class to answer of course.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Oh the irony

Yet again someone who has absolutely no knowledge whatsoever about my class; whatever the hell that’s supposed to mean.

What exactly do you mean by my class anyway as a matter of interest?

And where did I say “There hasn’t been one”?

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Answered and given you the win. What more do you want bearing in mind you’ve put me down as an ass and showing “class” in some wee insult?

I’ve explained my reasons behind wanting Brexit multiple times on here and engaged many times in fruitful conversations where at times I’ve held my hands up and acknowledged I’ve got things wrong.

I choose not to keep on doing it now especially with someone who is hell bent on trying to be a smart rse by interesting things to suit themselves whilst trying to insinuate they know me. You don’t. You never will so what chance do you have of ever listening or far less understanding my reasons?

You can keep writing books to digress on the subject or simply give one benefit.

So far youve listed trade deals when we havent signed any.

It's a pretty simple question too.

The very fact we can start entering trade deal discussions with other nations is a benefit. I’d have thought that was obvious.

You gavent. It was a paraphrase as a demonstration of what you could simply write.

Would you like the question again or something?

No because its not tangible as its on the never never.

Look you clearly cant answer honestly and that's fine.

Anyone who says they know how this will pan out is being disingenuous.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Absolutely.

Yet we’ve now lost so much and it’s the final nail in our country’s coffin. Honest to fwck I’d have thought the twists and turns so far would have made any sane person at least hold counsel until things are a lot clearer and that may take years yet.

ffs

Before Brexit we couldn’t enter into any potential trade deals on our own with any other country.

Now we can.

That’s an advantage. Clear as day.

You’re just being obtuse and nothing more.

posted on 14/1/20

And we’ve lost nothing yet either.

Nothing.

So it’s all as was. No disadvantage. Still all to be decided.
