arsenal being second shows you that this was done on tickets sold rather than actual fans inside the stadium.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
West Ham being 99.9% full too.
Put as many stats up as you like, doesn’t change the fact that there are large portions of empty seats at virtually every city game!
The same seats are empty at most City games because they’ve been sold to travel agents who can’t re sell them.
They should do what other clubs do - Put seats for tourists out of sight of the TV cameras.

Just get Sterling to dish them out at local schools again to the United and Chelsea fans.
Yeah this is a bit of nonsense.
One think at chelsea that does frustrate me though is they removed lots of seats at beginning of last season for "handicapped fans". Anyway, theres two infront of where I sit, empty 50% of games, and the ones that aren't empty there is no evident handicap for the people who end up sitting there. I've never seen empty seats for a league game in close to 15 years, but now theres the odd empty seat at the end of rows.
I'd also query the bournemouth numbers, surely they could sell out 10,000 every week?

Man complains about disabled people being disabled
Given the standard of football and the chance to see great players like Aguero, Silva and KDB etc, the empty seats at the Etihad are a travesty.
It takes more than 10 years to produce match going fans. I'd say about 2-3 minutes initially, then 9 months, then you have to grow them and probably only at match going age at about 10 years old.
City are also competing against our generation of United fans who are producing kids and making them support United. How do you think we still have so many Liverpool fans in the younger generations despite them not being successful for 30 years? It is because their parents supported them when they were successful and forced their kids to support Liverpool.
You can't just start a new club 10 years ago and expect generations of fans within a decade. It takes time.

I know!?
When the police reveal the real attendance figures they get made to look very silly (West Ham was 42k) but of course the Prem do naff all about it as they want the product to appear as popular as possible.
67k at OT last night looked very optimistic?

spurs dont have great attendance i wouldnt big that up of defend it being meh but WH, Arsenal and City announcing these attendances which are obviously not the ATTENDANCE but tickets sold is pretty embarrassing when you see so many empty seats. average 99% full spurs 95% looks right and they do attendance based on numbers through the turnstiles...only a handful of clubs around the country would average that close to 100% attendances and certainily wouldnt be any of those 3
in conclusion, myth not put to bed OP
not aloud too call it white hart lane any more cos snowflakes get offended pc gone mad
What a load of nonsense this is. Arsenal capacity is 60,383 yet their lowest attendance 60,031. There was certainly more than 300 empty seats during the city game that’s for sure. There were thousands in fact
it's great I am a United season ticket holder and this one time I murdered someone on a Saturday and I actually got away with it because these figures proved that I was at old trafford when I hadn't actually been in weeks. The number of times I have cheated on my wife as well and gotten away with it because of these stats. Good times.
One time whilst at Old Trafford I also attended a lecture on quantum mechanics.
What is the craziest thing you have done whilst also attending a football match?
One time whilst watching a match at Old Trafford I was sitting at home reading The Outsider by Stephen King.
