I am not denying he ain't a good manager. As long as you give him the cheque book he will create an awesome team. But so can nearly most of the other top managers.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's because he needs top players to play the way he wants his teams to, everyone including the keeper needs to be quality on the ball and be adept at playing in tight spaces.
Really would be interesting to see him at a club who couldn't fund that level of player.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No he doesn’t, he needs players with certain characteristics. That’s why he was fine with using Delph and then Zinchenko as left backs.
He needs top players to win multiple trophies, as every manager does.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Fair point but like in midfled particularly he needs a real level of quality, nothing wrong with that though it's just many players couldn't do it to the level he wants them to, have to be a super technicall footballer. Like would Henderson thrive under pep like he does under Klopp?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No, but then there’s other players that wouldn’t thrive under Klopp. That’s the same for any coach.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Like who?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sakho, Benteke, Karius, Moreno etc
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Oh you mean players who are sheet? You can't coach inherent talent saan.
My point is any player Pep can work with Klopp can also work with.
But not any player Klopp can work with Pep can work with.
Klopp can work with any player except the players he can’t work with but they’re just shiiit so it doesn’t count

Klopp only sold one top player right (Coutinho)?
That comment wasn't meant as a Klopp v Pep debate but to say Pep only succeeded because he spent truck loads of cash completely ignores his time at Barca, which is really where he made his name.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It makes me laugh how the Coutinho money has supposedly covered every transfer Liverpool have made over the last few years according to Liverpool fans.
The reality is their club has spent plenty of money to get to where they are now. Not knocking it, but let’s accept reality please.

Most of our midfield for a start. I think people forget that when Guardiola took over, everyone said De Bruyne and Silva were an either or and no one thought he’d play them both in centre midfield, where neither of them were playing. Guardiola has got the max out of both of them.
“ It makes me laugh how the Coutinho money has supposedly covered every transfer Liverpool have made over the last few years according to Liverpool fans.”
Including Salah who joined before
It’s not about working with though, it’s about getting the best out of. If you swapped both squads, both managers would still do well. In a lot of positions, they’re after the exact same type of player, particularly on the flanks.

I don’t, both of those could play the Fernandinho or the Gundogan role in our current setup. They’d both suit the set up he had for his midfield at Bayern too, which was more similar to how you currently play than the way we do.
