Wont eat in chain restaurants or crappy old pubs.. always check the toilets when i go to somewhere new first as well and mrs always moaning when we are out and im on trip advisor checking

I had chicken feet in China too when I went for work, wasn't a huge fan. We got served Donkey meat too while in a pretty under developed industrial area, not much for us Westerners. That wasn't too bad though tbf.

Me too, I stay away from franchised restaurants, cannot beat an independent when it comes to food, they put way more effort into where the ingredients are sourced and generally take better care with cooking it.

Theres a cafe just outside Gunwharf Quays in Portsmouth that has Greece dripping down the walls but seriously do the best Bacon and egg sandwich known to man.

Anyone that likes Indian style dishes should give Ethiopian a try, i was very impressed.

a few people from an area on the planet create some amazing dish, everyone else steals it and says 'my countries food is the best' as if they were the ones to come up with it they didnt create the spice or whatever from thin air, just fortunate it grows in that country

Our cuisine is top draw.
Sizzle's mum obviously cooks him very basic meals with no flavour or seasoning. He's then used this as the benchmark to rate every single English dish.
I've had our simple/standard dishes in high end restaurants - some of the best meals I've ever had.

Sizzle's mum obviously cooks him very basic meals with no flavour or seasoning. He's then used this as the benchmark to rate every single English dish.

My mother is northern, so it was always meat and two veg. Very bland.
Chips with everything else.
The best thing about really fancy restaurants is the portions are so small you've still got room for a pizza or a kebab later on.
