Would be fecking hilarious if we went on to win the thing.
Teams like Accrington do quite well getting players we've spent fortunes on developing for feck all, so maybe this nomark should be a little more grateful.
Imagine the boss prioritising the PL and CL over an FA Cup 4th round replay! How totally outrageous.

I'd love to win the FA Cup, but i make Jurgen right, why implement a winter break only for it not to happen if you have FA cup replay? We got done over with the league cup too. The EPL & CL are the priority. If the FA don't care about the fixture pile up why should we?

You don't need an apostrophe for commas.
We really need a break for our top players because from what I saw from the game against United was we were flagging near the end because of the sheer effort put in and so we deserve it.
On one hand it’s hard to argue against the point Klopp is making - a winter break that teams should respect only for the authorities to arrange a game during said break. On that basis alone it’s ridiculous, and on that basis Klopp is right to draw attention to it.
On the other hand, no one else is complaining about it and just getting on with it. And the break is for the players, so by all means let the players have a break, but Klopp should still manage the team for the game in question.
As far as the FA Cup is concerned, so many different parties are to blame for its demise from a respected and valued cup competition. Playing semi finals at Wembley, playing the final on the same day as other league fixtures just being two reasons why the authorities (ie the FA) have made a rod for their own back. Teams playing weakened sides are also to blame. And fans are also due to dwindling attendances in the competition (the FA cup used to draw bigger crowds than league games 20 or so years ago)
It’s such a shame and the blame for it can be aimed towards so many different factions within the game. I’m against the devaluing of a competition that has been a staple of English football, before even league football came to be.
And that devaluing has nothing to do with Klopp.

The cup for me lost its value when u had championship teams playing weakened sides. I mean come on championship teams.
