I'm not sure how many of those were in January but it just seems like a poor business decision to me. I would not be happy if for example Liverpool were considering selling Matip to City.

Spurs would probably play son and lucas off of giroud and get remarkable results or something, something we've failed to get from him in the pl.
Logical signing to me! This was only ever going to be a back up player like Llorente so we can't break the bank. Giroud is cheap, experienced and will play the big man up top well. I don't think he'll come in to score goals. His brief will be to hold the ball up now we play fast transition football (which used to be known as long ball), so that others can feed off his strength.
I'd prefer us to be a bit cleverer in the market though and go out and find a Martinelli. A young player with potential that can would be happy learning from Kane and playing a bit part. I'd have liked that to have been Parrott but this is Mourinho, he's allergic to youth.
No brainer really. Perfect cover for Kane.

I hate it when players move between rival clubs. they clearly don't care about the fans.
Little too old to be the starter for the rest of the season imo, would need to feature in more of a llorente role

He’s decent enough for half a season
Giroud is the best we could do now. He would work well with pace either side.

Giroud... no thanks. such a lazy solution to a serious problem. Need a younger powerful forward that's more mobile. Said ages ago we should have been looking like players like Haller. Even Rondon would make more sense than Giroud

Gallas was outstanding for Tottenham, and had an exemplary attitude, which is more than can be said of some of players who have been with us from far earlier in their career.
Jose would get god work out of Giroud would be a smart buy to plug a gap.
