i'd say ancelotti has improved everton more than jose has improved tottenham because jose really hasn't improved you. the loss for city was self inflicted. pep is confused. even though i think mourinio is finished as a top manager it's not fair to asses him without time to bring his own players in. having said that he looked terrible at united, his easy road europa win papered over some really bad managing.

Let's look at the facts:
Everton:
Players: £100m players like Richarlison who Barca are after
Stadium: Classic stadium with great atmosphere
Fans: Good positive supportive fanbase
Position: 7th
Overall Ancelotti has had it easy there.
Spurs:
Players: Winks, Dier, Sissoko etc, some of the worst players in the league if not world
Stadium: soulless corporate American football stadium with no atmosphere
Fans: Really awful fans, both individually and collectively.
Position:
6th.
Mourinho working wonders with limited resources.
I just did some analysis in excel as well to decide once and for all who is better by sorting the clubs' positions in the table from highest to lowest using the sort function in excel and it said that 6th is higher than 7th. It's pretty conclusive.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I have a question.

More than Everton.
Ancelotti has done well in the PL, yes.
However, it's the only competition they're involved in. If Tottenham had only the PL to focus on, I'm sure we'd have picked up a lot more points.
We're still in the FA Cup (Everton's senior team lost to Liverpool's under 18s remember).
We're still in the Champions League.
Plus, we've had to deal with Eriksen leaving, Kane being out for 3 months, Lloris breaking his arm, Toby (eventually) signing a new contract, etc....
I think Jose/Tottenham have coped better.
Everton will finish above Spurs next season...so Ancelotti.
The BS may actually be a decent outfit in the PL again with Ancelotti.

Indeed.
Based on all the facts above. José has performed better.
Ancelloti: P9 W5 D2 L2
Wins against: Burnley (H), Newcastle (A), Brighton (H), Watford (A) and Palace (H).
José: P19 W10 D3 L5
Wins against: West Ham (A), Olympiacos (H), Bournemouth (H), Burnley (H), Wolves (A), Brighton (H), Middlesborough (H), Norwich (H), Man City (H) and Southampton (H)
Plus, our defeats came to Liverpool (narrow 1-0 loss), Bayern Munich 2-3 (A), Chelsea 1-2, Man Utd 2-1 (A) and Saints 1-0 (A).
factor in all the above injuries to key players, Eriksen, etc... and José wins hands down.

Yeah... I think Ancelotti is doing a more impressive job than Mourinho but even so, I think it's a stretch to say they'll finish above Spurs based on a couple of good months compared to the past several seasons.

You're celebrating someone else's joke a surprising amount

Celebrating? If this is celebrating to you I wonder what Christmas is like around you're neck of the woods.
Try and get out more and when you do, stay out longer.

I think Jose/Tottenham have coped better.

deffo good points. sometimes forget we have had our No.1 keeper missing for much of the season and 20 goals plus in the physio room. then add Ndombele..our record signing that cant play 90mins or 2 games in a row
