Just seen the pair of them on the news with the well choreographed slanging match

I just can't see how fury can go 12 rounds without getting knocked down. People overrate his ability (head movement, defensively) I mean its good, but no heavyweight can avoid a top punch for 12 rounds, they just cant get out the way.

Its whether fury can get back up again and be so far infront on the scorecards. Very interesting.

Could be another cracking fight, but I basically refuse point blank to pay-per-view for boxing ... I pay way more than enough already to watch sport. Tend to agree that Wilder's sheer punching power will prevail this time around. Would love to be proven wrong, but I agree with Fury that it's impossible for him to win on points over there, and just don't see him taking Wilder out.

I see it is on at midnight this Saturday. Does this mean that the fight actually starts around then or does it not actually start until around June?

I'm still deliberating whether I will stay up/get up to watch it.

Its either going to be a Wilder KO or Fury on points you would feel. You would think Fury will be in better shape for this one but Wilder can still catch him.

I had Fury winning on points in the first fight with Wilder winning 3 rounds (2 knockdown rounds and another round 10-9). Think it worked out at 115-111.

Really don't know how the fight will go. On the one hand it's hard to imagine Wilder not landing a big punch at some point. On the other hand a better prepared Fury could elude it more than the recovering Fury did.

I do wonder if Fury will follow up on his tactic to go for a KO, or whether it's mind games, because that's going to leave him more open to getting hit.

dont think the eye wound from the last fight will be an issue at all... for that to happen wilder will have to pepper it, and lets be honest, if wilder wins it wont be through a large amount of punches landed.

Are there any worthwhile fights on the undercard? I haven't heard about any of them.

Charles Martin is fighting Gerald Washington that's all I've heard.

for a heavyweight and a guy his size fury has a very poor punch in regards to power... if it was a straight out boxing match then he would win every time.. the problem is its not and wilder will connect at some point, the same way AJ would.

as for AJ and wilder... well that would come down to who could get that power shot in first

Charles Martin is the worst world champion that ever existed.

Something I wish boxing would take from the UFC, their cards are always stacked.

Promoters have killed boxing.

in terms of technique... but you probably knew that anyway.

Fury is a boxer, Wilder is a brawler

I don't know much about boxing but drive a van during the week and drink surprisingly feminine drinks on Saturday nights whilst out with the lads, so I have an opinion on the boxing. I may even end the night proving to my mate that I would beat him at boxing as I have quicker hands.

Fury is a dull fighter to watch. Zero punch power with his height being the advantage which allows him to jab and move.

The build up has been cringe-worthy as have Fury suits.

Hard one to predict as Fury is by far the better 'boxer' but Wilders punch power is phenomenal. If I had to bet my wageson it I'd plump for a Fury points win. Don't see it bring anywhere close to memorable as the first encounter though.

Windmill Wilder is an awful boxer. Some of the wild swings he takes are embarrassing. If you looked at the 2 boxers you'd be fooled into thinking Wilder was the better boxer and Fury the slugger, but it's the complete opposite. I think AJ is a mixture of both but his chin lets him down.

Why not post this on the boxing forum, Robb?

Strange one because on one hand Fury should be much fitter than last time, where he still outboxed Wilder after a long lay off.

But on the other hand Wilder seemed to be getting Fury's timing by the end of the last fight and if he catches him early this time I highly doubt Fury survives.

Where's Oscar when you need him? That guy knows all about boxing.

Fury in points for me. I know Wilder has the ultimate equaliser, but Fury was at 65-70% fit in that fight and almost won. I see the comment above about Fury's cut and Wilder targeting that area, however, I cannot see him hitting him at all. Did nothing of note until the 9th round in the last fight and I cannot see him repeating his knockout punch. Unfortunately for Wilder, Fury is the best fighter he has ever faced, period.

However, I I woke up in Sunday and seen Fury had been knocked out, I wouldn't be surprised. If I woke up Sunday and seen Fury wins on points, I wouldn't be surprised.

I would be surprised if I woke up an saw that he'd knocked wilder out in 2 rounds. So in essence a very hard fight to call, but if I was a betting man I'd put it on Fury for sure.
