Masks can trap viruses so unless you take them off carefully you can increase your risk by wearing one.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
FFS.
If it hadn't trapped it you were getting ill anyway
----------------------------------------------------------------------
There has to be a certain level of virus to do it's job.The mask can act as a catcher.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You believe me now you asked for a source on viral load
I'm still waiting for an official report saying that wearing a mask in 100% ineffective and completely pointless to even wear one.

I wouldn't recommend anyone trying an experiment on breathing your own air though.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
There's no risk. HB Flash will wear on these cloth masks thinking it is air tight and all the air he is breathing is recycled. Like the kid who thinks he is holding his breath for ages, but is breathing through his nose.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Resorting to exaggeration now you're stuggling.
I have never claimed full effectiveness or anything close.
I said it reduced risk when you said it does not reduce risk at all. Which of course it does.
You breathe in less foreign air, your risk is reduced.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Are you wearing a mask right now ?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No.

Tamwolf must have found it, he's so sure.
Please share it with us Tamwolf.
Tbh you don’t need a mask when walking in open air, you’re unlikely to catch anything not even flu, unless you’re old or have other health problems
It’s indoors with little ventilation that you really need it
Dr Jake Dunning, head of emerging infections and zoonoses [infectious disease spread between humans and animals] at Public Health England seems to think it does lower the risk if not significantly.
https://www.independent.co.uk/life-style/coronavirus-do-face-masks-work-stop-virus-spread-symptoms-usa-outbreak-china-a9359336.html
So Tam tell us how you know more than him?
If all mask manufacturers and suppliers worked together and made one huge mask spanning cities at a time, we could catch the virus completely.

Also it’s about the percentage of virus cells you have in your body compared to your own cells
Europe will be fine, there virus floating around in the air isn’t anywhere as ‘condensed’ as in Asia
The more virus cells in your body the more ill you’ll get, which is why 8 of 9 cases in the UK recovered so quickly (not counting diamond princess people)
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Where do you get your sources from ?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The off licence by the sound of things.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It’s called viral load
Viral load, also known as viral burden, viral titre or viral titer, is a numerical expression of the quantity of virus in a given volume. It is often expressed as viral particles, or infectious particles per mL depending on the type of assay. A higher viral burden, titre, or viral load often correlates with the severity of an active viral infection.
