Jose really is a massive beIlend isn't he. You don't hear too many good things from ex players since his inter days. Bet that Toby quote was taken before last weekend too!
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Hes their boss, not their mate. His job is too get them to win games not give them a complimentary reach around.

Mourinho’s shiiiiiitty hoofball and terrible man management were clearly a big reason Mkhi failed.

.......

It was also a good reason why we should have steered clear in the first place.

What evidence is there that there was a correct way to manage Mkhitaryan?

....

We will never know because Jose opted for the incorrect version.

Dortmund seemed to man manage him correctly, as he was playing well for them. Funnily enough that's probably why we wanted to buy him in the first place.

Lukaku’s confidence was destroyed by United, for sure. Mourinho to begin with obviously.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I think he was fine under Jose - what really facked him up was the Belgian fitness team making him bulk up at the World Cup at the cost of United the following season.

Wow spin

Take it you’re unfamiliar with Rob?

'For me Jose Mourinho is an unbelievable people manager, someone who you want to travel eight hours by road to play on a Sunday after your son is born,' Alderweireld said this week.

'That’s the feeling you get, the feeling I have for him. You don’t want to disappoint him.'

It works both ways. Some players love Jose, some don’t. Was the same with LVG and I’m sure plenty of managers.

So did kagawa, sometimes players are built for certain teams/leagues.

Miki was not good at arsenal either. He was better for us than he was for them.

Spoken as a man who's never been in a football team for a full season or managed staff no doubt.

Or Miki just wasn’t good enough and needs an out?

Mourinho isn’t a lot of players favourites, but at the end of the day it’s the players that perform on the pitch not the manager, and Miki simply wasnt good enough. There were times he could barely complete simple 6 yard passes ffs.

Not a coincidence most players struggle to make a six yard pass once Mourinho gets hold of them.

I remember there was a number of us who were Jose-sceptic at the time of his appointment. But gave him the benefit of the doubt, hoping he bought into club traditions and adapted his managerial/footballing style somewhat. That never happened.

I've seen some poor Spurs fans say the same thing and are finding this out for themselves too.

.....

Why would he need an out. Before these comments we all knew Jose want treating him well. Jose told us this himself with his pathetic excuses for not playing him early on.

Thank god Ole hasn’t adopted that mentality with Bruno.

Don't know blaming Belgium for his failure is a bit of a stretch imo.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

It is a fact that the Belgian fitness team bulked him up for the World Cup - not Jose

Bullllshiiiiiit, Lukaku bulked himself up unless he's a footballing version of foie gras. You put that lot on in three weeks anyway

Not defending Jose’s style of management, which I think has deteriorated massively over the years, and clearly he now has massive issues with his interactions with players and the press.

But there’s a difference between him mismanaging a top level player like he did with Hazard, and a former flop having a go because he was moved on from a club he wasnt good enough to be at.

Has ole not gotten his man management wrong with Pogba? Is that not why Pogba has no respect for him? Can I expect some articles about this at some point?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What makes you think that Pogba has no respect for Ole? His agent has actually said the exact opposite.

Yeah if he's not playing well don't play him.

That doesn't also include being a massive caaant and ruining his confidence though
