Liverpool seem a little bit stale as crazy as it sounds so can see them bringing in Werner and someone like Coutinho who I feel they still miss (maybe not him exactly but someone with a bit of magic in midfield)
Sounds crazy to say a team who are gonna get 100+ points are a bit stale but if Klopp is as smart as I think he is he’ll see that to evolve something new is needed
I think they will more than likely go for mbappe with a hand from Nike.
Liverpool are hard to predict in the transfer market. But they usually make the right signings so it wouldn’t surprise me if they address the weaker areas in the squad successfully.

It's almost like they have a plan and competent people in charge of the football side of things...
Helps when you have one of the two best managers in the world.
Yeah, hopefully they all get coronavirus.
might be worth seeing if Van der sar wants to be our next chief executive.
Ole has a plan. Ole is executing said plan. The plan is as obvious as it can be. It is not taking short cuts. It is bringing out the best out of our mismanaged players. Figured out the players who are not good enough. We have steadily removed the weaker players. By the end of this year, we will have reduced our bloated squad. Every player we have will be able to contribute. I'm not sure but our wages may even go down (till we sign grealish or sancho)
This is the first time that every thing the manager has done has made sense. Even not signing Bruno to find out if pogba, Lingard and Pereira might pan out.

I was referring more to the people above Ole to be fair but yes it does seem like OGS has a plan in mind. Translating it consistently into performances is the next phase of that.
Things are looking up. The arrival of Bruno has seen to that.
Even Ole is starting to use the squad better for the lesser games. I don’t really expect us to get the top four but you never know.
Next season I think we will finally kick on. All depends on Ed in the summer.
I’m much more optimistic. Finally started enjoying watching again.
First time since, well, when Solskjaer was caretaker

I have a feeling this will happen:
* get top 4 at Chelsea’s expense.
* ole is forced to step aside for poch by Ed. Because he’s an idiot.
* Sancho is purchased at an unjustifiably stupid fee
* Pogba is sold for 60m + player exchange to juve
Of course things are looking up. We are playing better, getting better results, even getting the rub of the green? It about time, Ole's had nothing but bad so far, especially with injuries.
I'm not prophecying great things, but maybe a trophy or 4th. But if w get the right players in in the summer we could be battling City and Liverpool
Come on United, show them how it should be done.

Me too
What signings do you think we could realistically make that would have us battling with City and Liverpool next season, 52?
Sancho and a striker, no name I'm afraid, Werner maybe but he's probably Pool bound.
I'm not au fait with good young strikers but hope our scouts are.
Pogba, Bruno, McT, Fred to cover the the midfield positions. Rashy, Martial, Sancho, New striker to Cover the attacking positions. If Greenwood develops as hoped he may oust Martial. But we can probably use all of them.
That would give us good, exciting, options but I don’t see it as enough for us to be pushing the aforementioned teams. It’s not just the squad strength would be lacking but the team chemistry that those two have built up, with the two best managers in the business, over years of playing together makes them far out of our reach in one summer.
As we discussed earlier, the level they’re capable of in the league is at, or above, some of the greatest teams we’ve ever had under Fergie. I just cannot see how one summer will get us from out current level to that one. We may never get to that level, they’ve shown a consistency unrivalled in the history of English football - and I wouldn’t actually be critical of the club for failing to achieve that right now.
I take on board everything you say Mason and you could well be right.
My thinking is Liverpool in particular will find it hard to repeat, and City will have to be careful what they spend.
But the main thing is that I think us, Leicester, Wolves, Everton will be pushing them harder and taking more points off them.
I also think Ole is better than he is given credit for. When I knew he was coming I read what people at Molde thought. I was expecting passionate, hard working, driven. But what I read was intelligent, willing to learn, calm. I liked that, he could grow into the job I thought, and still do.
I seriously think he could turn out better than we all thought?

Grealish if Pogba gors
Fair enough, but I think you’re hoping for a perfect storm rather than there being any realism to your expectations. But I hope you’re right, of course.
I like Grealish, the problem is his best positions are taken up on the pitch by Rashford and Bruno. Right wing is out biggest weakness, which is why Sancho is the best fit and will most likely our main priority.
If you look around Europe there’s really not a lot of quality options for the right hand side. The best right sided performers have been Salah, Messi, Sancho and Mbappe. Only one of those is realistic for us.
It's all our best gu Mason. I do give it a bit of thought instead of reacting or choosing a side. I think you do too, so I'm not disagreeing with you, it would not surprise me if you were right, it's just my opinion.
I do get that. I’m not trying to make this about management either, as you could actually look back to United being in a similar position around 2004 - and even better placed - yet it took a few years for the main young guns to mature and for the team to develop the chemistry needed to compete for the title. Even with Fergie I think this team would need more time and transfers to get to the level Liverpool and City are capable of.
