Shocking of true, however, I'm sure your club will deal with it in the best possible way. Aside from that, what is wrong with people? I really do not get this type of behaviour at all and especially when it comes the colour of someone's skin. I mean FFS, everyones heart stinks and none of us have a devine right over another. Just makes me sick to think this goes on in this modern world of ours. Socially constructed prejudices need to be wiped out forever and this type of behaviour is unacceptable. 👍

Anyone who behaves in this manner deserves everything coming to them punishment-wise via the club and the authorities.

Strong statement from CSG.

I’ll wait for more information before jumping to conclusions.

This stuff definitely still goes on, but there’s more to this than is being reported on from the snippets of info we’ve got.

Completely unrelated although a similar scinario to point 4.

My local morrisons had an outsourced security team, one man in particular was always at the front of store.

One day he's on the front of the local paper, charged with child abuse (there's infamous grooming gangs local to me).

Turns out numerous females had reported this gent to morrisons management fort making inappropriate comments to both them and their daughters.

If you're outsourcing this kind of work, and not conducting interviews and background checks yourself then you're open yourself to these risks.

If this was at some entrance then they'll surely be some CCTV footage catching what went on.

Apparently footage from the vicinity is going to be reviewed

Find it very odd there wasn’t any CCTV footage when first asked tbf, right outside the front of the ground according to the story.

So because someone you're sceptical about believes the story, you are inclined to be sceptical about the person who made the claim? We know nothing about the guy himself who has made the accusation, and it's his reliability that matters, not that of someone else who has chosen (perhaps without sufficient evidence) to believe him. It makes sense to withhold judgement in this case.

It appears that Kids of Colour and Stretty alike may be jumping to conclusions based on their preconceptions about the world.

Since the jussie smollett incident Im always extremely sceptical in this climate of using these incidents for clout and or nefarious purposes.

Probably looking for a payout.

Do you think there aren't also incidents of racist attacks after which the perpetrators lie about them, Stretty? There has been a marked increase in hate crime, racially motivated assaults and far right terrorism (which MI5 now sees as a more widespread threat than Islamist terrorism). It happens. Occasionally people also lie about it happening to them. In some cases it's one person's word against another's and we have to withhold judgement unless there is additional evidence. Why assume the alleged victim is lying because someone else you heard about lied?

Because I'm a sceptical person.

I also live in a rather multicultural town and have never seen someone get beat up because of race/gender/sxuality etc. Imo these inciedents are exaggerated after the fact after people have standard everyday fights.

What you're doing is being sceptical about one person's claim (incidentally, the person with the broken eye socket) while choosing to take at face value the other's. That's not scepticism, it's jumping to conclusions.
