The major issue I have with Jose is he doesnt have a style of play or plan.

Even lower league teams with worse players have a style pressing, wing play overlaps etc

Injuries is no excuse for having no structure or plan.

Nice summary. I'm fine with the stadium hosting everything as it makes the club money.

But everything else is a total shambles.

He does, to be fair. When he has a target man, his style is to play direct football with a solid low block. It's godawful to watch, but he does have a preferred system.

He doesn't have the players to make that system work at Spurs though, with Kane out long-term. And the big issue is that he doesn't have any sort of ability to develop a new system using the tools at his disposal, which is why Spurs' play has devolved into a mess of nothing in particular.

Agree with you for most part chronic.

Daniel levy is the main reason for this complete shambles. He has made choices that have made Tottenham Hotspur an unrecognisable wreck it’s a club. The stadium was not worth this. Not at all.

Levy should have appointed someone who would build on from Poch someone with a similar philosophy instead of the exact opposite.

I feel exactly the same, I didn't even bother watching the match yesterday which is unheard of for me.

i think this is probably the most consistent Spurs team I ever known.

It’s clear Poch wasn’t the sole issue for this, sacking him is absolutely bonkers. The bloke went 18 months without signing anyone. What sort of miracles was Levy expecting him to create?

You also have to consider that moving stadiums was a major disruption and Poch was truly shafted by Levy.

Great post mate..... agree 100% with everything except the last paragraph. I have no optimism for the summer. I cannot see the Jose/ relationship working, I expect Kane to ask (very politely) to leave and i think the lack of European football will have a negative impact on what was like likely to be an already insufficient transfer budget.

My thoughts on Levy are well known, he's sold out and destroyed everything that made me love Spurs (win, lose or draw) over the past 35 years.

Big business is destroying football, sadly in the case of spurs, we are being fleeced more by the ownership of our club than most others.

Levy calls himself a "steward of the club" I cannot think of a man that represents the club I used to love less..... Enjoy the concerts and boxing, every now & again you might even catch a pi55 poor game of football by the team that plays is HIS stadium. Can't remember their name..... not that it really matters

Shafted is an understatement. The guy was your best manager in yonks and he was neglected completely by your chairman.

You seem to be finally coming to terms with the fact that Daniel Levy and ENIC are a massive issue at this club mate. I hate to say this to you chronic, but I did tell you mate all those years ago. I am so disconnected mate, I actually didn’t watch the game last night and won’t be watching Sunday either. I could see from a mile off we were going to struggle without a striker signing and once again Levy screwed us over like he’s screwed over the fans for years. We were neck and neck with Liverpool. They spent 180 mil, we spent 0. They are European and world champions, plus will be crowned league champions. Spurs have won f** all. That’s Spurs all over. I am sick to death of it and don’t even like half of these players.

We haven't won anything in the last 20 years to justify this level of expectation

It's not like none of us understand the business model that Levy sets out, not saying we should accept, far from it.

He's running a club with an eye on the P&L

Mate that’s no excuse. Plus those 20 years are under Levy’s leadership. This club should be winning more than 1 league cup in 20 years, it’s a shambles
