What's the point of starting a new league if it's going to last five years? Just because United have been crap and Liverpool have all but won the league shouldn't change opinion on it.

Liverpool are one game away from winning it and you want it scrapped? That's ridiculous.

When it all dies down that opinion will look even more bitter than it does now.

When it is safe to do so, the league will finish. You can't just scrap leagues and start new ones ffs

Why should next season take priority over this season? Wishful thinking and a quite blinkered opinion IMO. This league is worth 3-4 billion per season. No payments have been made for next season. No wages have been paid, no TV companies have paid anything etc.

But this season? Everything has been paid. Wages paid, TV companies owing money etc. How will clubs meet financial obligations if the season is scrapped? will TV companies still pay the billions? Clubs have budgets and projections that rely on payments from this season.

If this season was cancelled, it would take 20 years to go through the legal hurricanes that would follow and many clubs would be in deep financial trouble.

In fact, next season should be scrapped entirely so that this season can finish. Suspend all games for 6 months, get rid of the virus and pick up where we left off. This will be best for everyone, justice will be served and everyone will get what they deserve.

Teams should not be given another chance at achieving their goals after failing this season IMO.

There is no framework or precedent for this so they will make it up as they go along and no chance Liverpool won't be champions IMO.
