The year the league was abandoned. Will be a quiz question in 2060.
I wonder how my country will deal with this.
Think Africa will make Italy look like a mild case.
Crazy times. I was thinking last night McDonald’s closing every restaurant in the U.K. would be the biggest news story in any other year, now it’s a side note.
This is the new way of life for a long time.

Stay isolated Troy , hopefully your country won't delay like Italy did and the UK are doing .

You should have seen Tesco in the UK
Does feel like the world is crumbling bit by bit. Really scary stuff, but clearly going by the news, some people just won't give up their precious lifestyles, even if it puts others at risk. The Bondi beach news clip was just ridiculous. Not to mention Scottish pubs refusing to close and dozens of people in them.
Still, never mind, at least the BBC won't change their views on football, with yet another pointless article on Klopp this morning. They obviously still think anything Liverpool is all that matters.

Does anyone else not feel comfortable comparing this to war?
Our sacrifice is sitting at home watching TV hoping it’ll blow over.
I think its compared to war because of some of the extremes people are having to take to feel safe. Because as one country we are having to all look out for one another, taking precautions against a common enemy. There is a front line and everyone else is being asked to do what they can to help

A strange comparison tbf.
Even if there was a war I would still be watching TV over being on the front lines.

You might not have a choice if you are conscripted.
I want a TV license inspector to call so I can sneeze on him and watch him run

It’s not comparable to the war.
But people are scared and people are dying.
Having to go without my daily latte and almond croissant from Cafe Nero. Better be a Purple Heart in this for me.

Lest we forget.
I’m actually appreciating my food a lot more!
It’s correct to call it a war - war doesn’t just mean tanks on a distant battlefield.
It’s a battle against something that threatens all of us and we can win or lose this war dependent on our actions.
I'm eating a lot of toast , as bread seems to be the only good I can get

For sure, for loads of us all we have to do is stay at home, anyone who flaunts this is a complete selfish arrogant tool.
