Fair play gb honestly is piiiss take an affront when you’ve got billionaire owners and perm tv money rolling in. That goes for all pl clubs including Burnley, who I saw have started making noises about it, fack off back to tin pot-land where you belong Burnley, before you win the pl lottery. If you’ve overspent, then it’s your problem.

Start by letting players join other clubs to ease your wage bill. And get your exec’s to take a cut.

Premier league football is one of the last places to be asking for a handout.

Can't say anything other than I agree completely Got_Better.
Fkn embarrassing and to say I am disgusted by this decision by the club would be an understatement.

Ole...you know what. I am going to post a fkn letter to the club about how I and other fans feel abut the pizz taking the club's are doing. Obvs mine will be Liverpool specific but I am fkn doing one!!

Must say most pool fans have been pretty unanimous on the disgust at this. they certainly won’t be the last club to do it either.

Honestly, I hate the tories, but the govt had to just tell them to fack off,. For all perm clubs, even duv1, there’s money there. Below that then I wouldn’t have an issue with, but the fat cats on a downturn can gtf.

Isn’t the club doing the very thing that most supporters from Merseyside do (seek government assistance)?

Isn’t it the stereotype that scousers are on the dole?

Personally, I don’t see a problem doing it. For how much garbage Liverpool supporters get from other club supporters like calling us bin dippers, murderers, etc etc....make them pay up.

Sorry, just being frank.

Ouch. Might want t to rethink what you’ve said.

<ñaugh>
your buddy in charge has royally ballsed up the way you guys in the stares are dealing with it. I hope your family aren’t effected by his incompetency (you would really have to be blind or watch fox to miss it, it’s really bad.)

I fear for you guys over there, it’s going to be bad.

I agree GB.

There’s enough money to pay 75 mil for VVD, to buy Alisson for 67 mil, Fabinho and Keita for well over 40 mil etc etc to upgrade our facilities to be state of the art but not enough to pay the working class people, who lets be honest won’t be on a whacking great wage, their money for at least a few months?

And i see the PFA are saying they won’t take a pay cut but will take a pay freeze, then expect this period paid up when things return to normal. Bullshiiiiiit.

Very disappointed in the club who have seen their yearly turnover increase a lot over the past few seasons and the players who could easily afford to not be paid well over 100k a week for a month, which would free up all the money needed to pay these people who some of which will be living paycheck to paycheck. Instead they’re taking money from your government that they don’t need.

It’s like Tevez said the other day “Footballers can live six months without getting paid, they are not in the same despair as those who have to leave home at six in the morning and return at seven in the evening to feed their family”

Most of it was sarcastic. Liverpool supporters get called all kinds of names and are stereotyped.

Liverpool and it’s supporters are hated around the country. So, to me, there’s some justice knowing that their taxes are paying for our staff.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Fair enough, I hope you remember after all this what trump has done to the USA with his utter nonsense, he really has condemned a lot of people to death through inaction/ (and shutting the pandemic response -because it was an Obama thing) claiming it’s a hoax (his usual tactics) this time he’s cost a lot of lives though.

That man has totally facked you. Don’t believe me? Have a look back through non fox or us media to see some truthful and unbiased reporting on it. He’s made a mess, tried to put his 20 election campaign (economy being central) above people’s lives.

That said, hope you and yours are safe.

Yeah let’s just ignore the entire period where trump said it was a democrat hoax.

That definitely helped, didn’t do anything wrong at all.

You’re not going to “peak” Pool while your nation still has areas and states where fast food, stores like Best Buy etc are all open and operating.

In order to fix this you have to lockdown entirely, else you’re just buying time until a vaccine arrives (which is min a year away) and you’ll see a lot of people die from this.

ODB, we will probably disagree on most things, but I appreciate the sentiment.

You and your family stay safe as well. I will admit that it’s quite scary and crazy at the same time. But, luckily, I’m in Oklahoma and we haven’t been hit the bad like the coastal states. Hopefully it stays that way. Our “peak” is supposed to be in two weeks.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well keep safe, I fear you have it worse than us and are not even close to the peak so stay as safe as you can <ok<> no time to mess about when this sort of thing hits, I have a feeling there will be worse in our lifetime to come., I really hope not, but there will be. Only hope is we learn fri this.

As for what’s going on in the US, you can’t blame Trump for what’s happening.

The same day when China announced Covid-19 was spreading, Democrats were sending articles of impeachment over. When Trump announced that he wanted to shut down travel from China, Democrats- especially Chuck Schumer - called it racist.

But even then, no matter who is President, the President cant unilaterally shut everything down. Our constitution prevents that.

So, the constitution has kept the federal government in check - as it should.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He's been calling it a hoax and didnt do shiiiit for weeks when the virus is spreading and 49% still thinks he did a great job. He's been telling lie after lie about the coronavirus and the situation at hand. And here you are, one of the numpties defending him, blaming democrats.

You really are the thickest cuuuunt on this forum since its first article in 2011.

Fast food places are only operating drive thru only, proper restaurants are only doing take out, and Beat Buy is online only.

There are millions of businesses which have taken proper steps. But the government can’t lock down everyone or there will be mass rebellion.

Plus, my county’s constitution has already pointed out how wrong it is for the government to take the steps it already has. Just wait until after this is over, the media is already talking about lawsuits aplenty.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ok last thing. Your constitution was written 300 years ago, things have moved vastly forward since then, it’s not a good guide anymore, it’s outdated..

You really do need to minimise contact. This is a vicious disease, it can sit for 2 weed with no symptoms, all the time can be passed on. It even seems to those who have it to be bad for a few days, then they feel better, only to be floored by it.

Honestly, don’t take any chances.

posted on 4/4/20

Fast food isn’t essential though and thus shouldn’t be operating at all. It can still be passed quite easily from worker to customer.

Your country should be locked down, it’s not about whether it’s on trump to do so or not. Whoever is able to make that decision needs to do it. You won’t peak as you still have way too much unnecessary contact going on.

My fiancé’s mother is still going to work at the bank and she works in the debt collection area ffs. Firstly you can’t tell me that is essential (especially at a time like this) and secondly even if you deem it so why the fack is she not working from home???

Too many businesses are still operating when they shouldn’t, irs going to continue to spread.

Also what stay safe said about trump is true-he’s really facked you on this-inexcusable. I’ve always thought he was an idiot, but even if i put that aside completely, and analysed his actions impartially, he has still facked you. It’s bad.

posted on 4/4/20

Trump supporters won't see it. If anything to protect their own mental stability as everything they were told about him is either true or the reality is in fact worse.

Death is on his hands, thousands unnecessary deaths in fact

Sorry going back to lfc. I read it is like 1 mil cost per month for non playing staff. Let's say we are screwed for 6 months. Surely we can afford to pay that and say reduce the transfer budget? It is morally wrong what the club is doing.

Agreed. It’s bullshiiiit, the club don’t need it. It’s for smaller businesses to keep workers employed, not a richer than rich club than can pay out of its own pocket for a few months.

It’s greed and it’s a disgrace
