Great first couple of seasons but season 3 was poor

Heroes.

Vikings, maybe lasted more than one season but then became a drag. Although people tell me to persist.

Suits also lasted more than one season but became a little samey.

Vikings is great although I gave up in season 4. Need to get back on it

OP you really hit the mark with Homeland. Turned into a pile of cowdung.

Vikings went down fast after the death of Ragnar, just as expected, but its still worth keeping up with.

Dexter was the first program which came to mind tbh, I thought series one and two were brilliant, series four was good too but it was patchy at best for most of it's run IMO.

I think Killing Eve could go the same way if the last series is anything to go by, some plot holes and stuff which didn't make sense already had it's second series feeling like series 5/6 of Dexter.

Dexter should have ended when his sister found out. Dragged it on too long after and the ending was rubbish.

Vikings is starting to get like that. Another season and another battle while Ragner kids keep fighting against each other.

Great first series. Second one was pretty good too. But Gary Holton died whilst making it, and though they managed to cover for that and finish shooting, it was never the same after that.

Whilst S3 was kind of nice just catching up with the remaining characters, the magic had gone - transferring from ITV to BBC didn't seem to do it any favours either.

Couple more series after that, but you really had to love the characters to stick with it, as the storylines were pretty pathetic tbh.

Lexington

I spent 5 and a half years in the town it was set. One of the greatest places on earth if you like beer; food and live music.

Only fools was funny for about 10 minutes spread across the first series .....................

Yeah, I've been to Dusseldorf a bunch of times. Last time was three years ago, maybe?

A lot of great cities in Germany, of which it is definitely one.

Massively disagree with Prison Break.

Game of thrones is funny too

Up until the last series (not saying all the previous series were bulletproof) I could rewatch episodes en masse

And even at the beginning of the last series I was excited. Getting up at 5am to watch the battle of winter fell was possibly the most excited I’ve ever been for a tv show. But once Arya did what she did and that was it a part of me died inside and I can’t even think about Game Of Thrones without wincing and it’s dead to me now
