I see China have banned black people from entering restaurants due to fears of them having covid19. Yet they have reopened the wet markets where the virus originated I wonder what the WHO’s thoughts on this are?

There’s a few things wrong.

You are assuming that news reporting is like it is here, regulated for the most part, and accurate. Over there tgat doesn’t matter-hence why fix exists. It’s what boris’s adviso Cummings has wanted for many years-hence why the bbc is on their target list.

When you realise quite how many Americans are being fed this Uber slanted propaganda as news each day, and the insular way many of them look at the world (how many % own passports) then you start to realise how complete nonsense clowns like trump can get in.

Indeed, it’s not an acceptable response. That said, I don’t think Trump’s reaction is either. Unfortunately, giving this is the situation, it’s something that would have made more sense to address after the crisis is averted and in a diplomatic manner. Another good point.

As Britain and the USA withdraw to look after themselves, they are vacating space which China is gleefully taking up.

We all know what China is about. Allowing them to take over like this makes me think of how Hitler was allowed to rise.

Nations think they will be safe but when the sheet hits the fan the whole world suffers equally regardless. Whether its a pandemic or a financial crisis. Better to stay in the international circles where we can influence things and mitigate disasters, instead of withdrawing and weakening.

If China efuse to let them validate data as they used to, then they cannot complete a basic part or their remit.
Imtrunp will get he'll for his handling of this and so will WHO. If this episode results in anything I think it'll be WHO having to move further away from China.
After all this if they end up with more control and even less scrutiny then that's WHO done. That'd be suicide for the org in my view.

I don't know where his supporters are for the most part, i meet a few but very few. I do think last time it boiled down to Hilary being despised by just as many, i know my missus didn't vote for either party in the end, she just couldn't bring herself to do it.

Too late in the game unfortunately but i wonder how Cuomo would have done on the back of this crisis, he has come across very well indeed.
