Lots of players can play different positions. Lahm played in midfield for a long time. He was still the best right back in the world though regardless.

I understand that, but if we are basing the best 11 it should be on where the players play and he’s a midfielder now (he’s always been, Bayern just played him out of position).

Yes, I said he's just not quite the best in his position anymore, left wing. He has since been moved to the striker role, where he is now more effective. I went with Mbappe over Ronaldo, who I think is now better.
