Just started s1 Ozark. 2 eps down. Seems OK.

That last scene was so predictable IMO.

Rapidly gets tense and gripping!

Not going to read the OP, as we're still only mid-way through s2.

Only posting because I'd read a bunch of comments on other threads saying the second season wasn't that great. But I'm really enjoying it so far!

That's all really.

Roll on s3 then

Lexington, it gets better and better! Enjoy it!

I thought it was great but I think its a tad overrated. The crazy brother etc and how it goes down was too obvious. I don't like how stupid and smart they are at the same time, like they didn't think the psycho guy would ruin everything? Its a sheety way for things to fall apart in a cartel TV show IMO.

Its definitely above average, very much worth the time but not at the level of a show like Fargo. Season 4 will be nice but I don't mind the wait like I do for other shows, which says something.

Fair enough. Parts of it was a bit over engineered like the drone etc...Won't say much for fear of spoiling it!

What's the Fargo about?

Make this a spoiler thread

If you like Ozark you should love Fargo. Season 1 is one of the greatest seasons of TV ever, for me. Billy Bob is unbelievable in it.

Not much...Avoid Scouze comment and my reply to him, as I think they do give away a bit more, but in general not much!

I found Fargo pretty boring

Ozark is fantastic. Definitely a slow burner at times but it's really well written.

I also found Fargo boring. Maybe worth another go?

Jason Bateman could be that next door silent guy who is really a serial killer

Great show. Thought the first half of S3 was a bit slow but it picked up nicely the second half.

Got better with each season

Bateman is always a good watch, but man some people acted their pants off in this season. Must be up for some awards there. Linney in particular.
Overall, yeah it was a good show but still lots of Qs to be answered.
There is a set up that I’m wondering what the point was, which hopefully youse lot can answer for me.

Who thinks Wendy brother Tom is still alive? We didn't see the killing and nor did we see a face when a body was incarcerated.

I think he is dead but no doubt if the ratings start to dwindle they’ll bring him back

Nelson might have got the call from Navarro to not kill Tom. End of the day we never saw the kill or the body. It is left open.

I see what you mean, sure, It's kinda left open i mean, percentage wise imo, i'm low balling it, at under 10% he's alive.
I mean, for whose benefit was the 'Ashes' scene for?
Why would Bryde go on a bender?

posted on 19/4/20

If he were to be alive that would be funny. So none of the characters confirmed the body? Neither Marty nor Ruth confirmed it? That's not something that would usually happen.
