New deal for Pogba?

If he’s prepared to take a sizeable pay cut I wouldn’t be averse to him getting a new contract.

Reasonable squad player

Pogba should stop whining and do the job he is well paid for. He is playing for one of the two most iconic football teams in the world. At his best he is brilliant but we don't see that enough. If he doesn't commit fully to the team then cut out the cancer and ship him out for the greater benefit of the team. He could become one of the greats at Utd if he wasn't so far up his own ****.

Best midfielder in the world if he stays. Massively overrated and not United material if he goes. I don't watch him play

How many times does Pogba have to stick his middle finger up at Manchester United as a club and show he gives zero furrrks about the club (and its fans by extension) before the so called big club Manchester United grows some balls and furrrks him off?

I wonder.

Not sure which virus is worse, covid 19 or Pogba!

Get in.. Keeping Pogba, helps us, it does not hinder us.
This is a good thing.

New contract probably makes sense for all parties at the minute. That doesn't mean he'll necessarily stay beyond next summer. I'm on the fence.

The comments made by his agent are clearly unhelpful at times, and given their repetitive nature, Pogba is clearly doing nothing to discourage them, if not actively instructing him to do so.

At the same time, he's a quality player, who won't get any takers at the minute, with his valuation and the uncertainly with Corona, so needs to get on with it and play. However, without a new deal his value will plummet

He’s one of those players who needs quality around him to perform.
———

I used to make that excuse about him myself - Now Jose is gone and he was at fault I'm no longer a fan.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Which other player who is world class but needs better players around him to perform?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It hasn’t done bruno any harm has it? He hasn’t had any better to work with than Pogba already had yet has massively outperformed him.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Bruno has been very good but I disagree he’s outperformed Pogba. Pogba at the start of Ole’s reign and for spells of his 2nd season has been better than Bruno.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

That is incorrect

Bruno has literally shiiiit all over Pogba under Ole
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This is one of the more odd misuses of the word "literally". /Shudder/

Bruno hasn't done anything to pi55 anybody off yet, it will only take one penalty miss for people to turn on him.

That little jump he does before he takes a pen, is delicious bait for the fickle.

Agreed. Although his style of play will stop people turning on him as quick.

If he starts dancing on instagram I’m done with him.

Imagine he dances on a video with Pogba, he's already made friends with our second scapegoat Martial.

T1ts up from here.

Anyway, I hope he does sign and we bring in Partey. We'll immediately have one of the best midfields in Europe.

Pogba is a scapegoat because he openly wants to leave United

People won’t turn on Fernandes for a penalty miss because he openly loves playing for United

posted on 18/4/20

It's not unreasonable for United fans to have turned on Pogba ffs

The guy's agent has openly disrespected the club and its manager and Pogba himself has time and time again shown a lack of effort and commitment on the pitch for the club

Honestly I'm shocked that there are still United fans that any time for him at all. I'd want him out.

As recently as 6 weeks ago his agent was saying how it’s not impossible Pogba leaves this summer

It’s not impossible doesn’t mean he openly wants to leave. I reckon 99% of players in the PL would go to Real Madrid if the opportunity arose.

The difference is that Pogba has already stated he wants to leave and has never refuted it since

Of course he wants to leave. If Real offered what we'd accept he'd be off like a shot. And probably to Juve too. But I don't think Real will offer what we want so he and his agent have had to soften their stance somewhat. I'd rather he left, but at the moment I think he'll stay.

When did he state this? I’m not disputing he would leave us for Real, Barca or Juve but he’s never said this.

I used to make that excuse about him myself - good players or not there’s no excuse for his lassiez faire attitude to games

Use to think the same up until Bruno arrived and proved me wrong.
