Just let me know, how you feel in about 15/20 years time, when Labour night be in a position to challenge for Number 10
Up until then, try and relax and see the positives of what’s being achieved
Strong economy
Out of the EU
Brexit completed
The future’s looking positive 👍🏼
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Have never voted Labour in my life.
But if you honestly think the current brand of 'conservatism' has displayed any semblance of good governance, (and you consider the aforementioned points as 'achievements' I would worry for your sanity
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It’s like dealing with a cult.

What I’m saying is that they aren’t as bad as some are trying to make out
They’ve done the best they could in an unprecedented situation given the advice from the cheers that they’d been given - there’s nothing more you can ask off a Government irrespective of who was in power
Some people just want to constantly snipe and criticise no matter what good or bad they do
----------------------------------------------------------------------
"They’ve done the best they could..."
That's patently untrue.
As I mentioned before some of the measures they have put in place should be applauded. However they have also made massive blunders, and failed miserably to cover them up.
In particular PPE.
For example (recall posting this before) the UK government downgraded Covid19s risk as in infectious disease.
"As of 19 March 2020, COVID-19 is no longer considered to be a high consequence infectious disease (HCID) in the UK."
https://www.gov.uk/guidance/high-consequence-infectious-diseases-hcid
Two weeks beforehand the WHO (03 March) warned that PPE was running low and encouraged upscaling of production by 40%.
On the 11 March 2020 (over a week before the UK downgraded Covid19) the WHO characterised it as a global pandemic.
https://www.who.int/emergencies/diseases/novel-coronavirus-2019/events-as-they-happen
Why did the Ukgov downgrade the severity of Covid19 a week AFTER it had been declared a global pandemic by the WHO?
Because if they had, existing UK pandemic protocols stipulated the roll out of millions of pieces of PPE. Which they did not have, as previous (going back years) advice had been ignored due to cuts to heath services.
If that does not merit criticism (given subsequent healthcare staff deaths) I don't know what does..
