The majority of this country are thick, moronic, racist sheep, why do you think the county is in such a f*cking state?

Do you's think he would have survived if he'd had got the same treatment as the normal people of this world?..

I think the treatment he'd have got would have been the best this country had to offer, he should try bringing the rest of your health service up to a standard something like what he got!..

The UK has TEN PERCENT of Coronavirus deaths of the whole f*cking planet.

Shockingly inept at best, criminally negligent at worst.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This. Thousands of preventable deaths and clear negligence that can be proven.

I work for the nhs. I haven’t had the PPE needed. Do I blame Boris - no. There is a worldwide shortage and getting PPE is not an easy task. Getting it out to the millions of NHS workers is not an easy task. I have been at higher risk of getting the virus but I have continued doing my job to help others.

Do I blame the government for the nhs and deaths - No
I blame society. There is not and never will be a government in this country that will ever maintain a perfect nhs because of the sheer selfishness of the uk population.

Hundreds of thousands who don’t bother turning up for appointments each year
Tens of thousands of inappropriate visits to see a&e and GPs.
Tens of thousands of legal cases against the NHS - some justified many more just people looking for a quick buck.
Tens of thousands of assaults against nhs staff
Millions who refuse to work and drain this country of its wealth.
I could go on and on but for all those people moaning about the government I say put your own house in order first. This country would work with a united approach from the people - they could run this country but we choose to live in a selfish society.

Almost as much drivel as Bojo the clown just spewed, besides if you’re a Tory you don’t get to f*cking lecture anybody about the NHS, even if you claim to work for it.

There have been a number of failings by the government in regard to PPE.

For example in 2015 an advisory committee recommended stockpiling PPE in preparation for future pandemics. Due to the cost, these provisions were not implemented.

There is also the debacle surrounding opting of the EU's PPE procurement scheme.

Try chronic under investment for a decade, and repeatedly ignoring the warnings that we weren’t prepared for a pandemic.

Instead of clapping for the NHS, Tories should be washing the blood off their hands instead

Dear Boris

Resign now, take responsibility for your governments incompetence, lies and indifference. Your policies are killing thousands and you’re STILL not counting the deaths accurately.

They have PPE in Timbuktu and have had for a while.

What have the government been doing?

Even if what you say is true about the NHS, it still doesn't excuse the negligence and incompetence of the government itself which is clear IMO.

Take a very simple problem in this country - litter and fly tipping.

The government spends astronomical amounts of money paying people to go and pick it all up. The Government don’t advise us to throw litter and tip tyres all over the country.

There is a huge pot of money and ultimately we the people decide to a point where it is spent. A fair % of this society chooses to spend money on picking up such litter rather than build a new hospital every year.

It’s quite simple stuff really but unfortunately as you’ve said - the problem is this country has too many idiots living in it.

Move to next problem

Vanadalism - wonder how many hospitals PPE or ventilators etc we lose every year due to vandalism.

Here lies the problem.

B b b b but we’re getting 40 new hospitals remember? Boris said so.

Shouldn’t be a problem with the £350M a week we will be pumping into the NHS.

When is that happening again?

Governments decide spending priorities, not the general public.

I agree with the points made regarding decades of underfunding and constant restructuring of the NHS. And lack of preparation and a continuing shambles on PPE and testing.

I also despaired that government wasted 2 weeks dithering about herd immunity and allowed quarter of a million racegoers to risk their lives at Cheltenham. Also I recall that football only stopped because managers and players caught the virus. Government took no action. Telling people not to go to pubs but failing to close the pubs wasn't exactly decisive either.

As for taking the advice of scientists, we now learn that Cummings attended SAGE meetings, presumably influencing the so called scientific advice.
