So I assume you will disagree the next time celtic challenge incompetence as it’s just a different flavour

Just being realistic, Zach based on a succession of wholly uninspiring 'leaders' of bothe SFA and the various leagues. Now maybe it is an impossible job with the constraints - who knows? I do know that SFA certainly don't help themselves. I honestly think that advancing and promoting the game here is a total afterthought to the basics of administration and maybe the clubs or the structure don't help that? To move the game on needs drive and determination from a visionary, not 42 clubs voting for self-interest but to deliver the former needs the clubs to put their trust in one or two individuals and we are mired in 'what school did (s)he go to'.

I was wholly vocal about the shambles on vote night. Inept, yes. Corrupt, well wait and see.

Why should they walk away from the shambles it was
The way this was handled will have clubs at each other’s throats at the very time wee needed unity of thought
Get them investigated and outed if they were “at it”

I think they're out of touch what the fans think they see? Partly because they have to ignore social media - maybe all media?

Ditto, I think fans are out of touch with what actually happens and how and have a perception that isn't well managed by the authorities?

The reality may be somewhere in between?

I can see from the published timeline how that Fri night evolved. Votes missing at 17:15 so the result incomplete and the board meeting officially ended. Then Doncaster gets on the 'phone around the missing vote clubs and leaves the message for Nelms who didn't submit the vote and we know where that goes.

I think it was a board member that leaked the vote stats to the press after the meeting ended and Doncaster had then to respond in an official capacity all the while the Drysdale / Nelms / SPFL dance was taking place?

Just my impression from what is in the public domain.

It depends entirely on the articles of association but given that Rangers are calling for a General Meeting and not an EGM then you only have to assume they allow it!!

Nah, they would need to call it exactly what it was or it could be rejected or ignored!! The whole make up of the organisation would have to lend itself to being flexible in calling meetings between the member clubs!!

You can call for one at any time but it doesn’t necessarily translate into you getting one.

I agree if there is corruption it needs outed. I just find it odd that if the board is corrupt with a member being a Rangers representative then are Rangers insinuating their rep is corrupt.

If they are standing up against the corruption they see then good on them, they should be going to a whistleblower agency.

1. if Rangets are saying the board is corrupt then they are saying their rep is implicated

2. If Rangers are calling out corruption identified by their rep then it should be investigated by a whistleblower with evidence provided

I cant either there is enough evidence in the public domain of gross incompetence to merit an independent investigation.

So why dont people want it, these duds have presided over a terrible period of our game and an opportunity is there to hold them to account for something and folk dont want it.
