I'm at home.
I don't think momentum would be a factor as all teams have been disrupted. Indeed it may be the case that this enforced break will help Liverpool as it may stop them burning out.
What I think could happen though post Covid is players having different mindsets. We won't really know how this will affect anyone really and if players aren't mentally at it we may see strange results.
What is most likely to happen though is the better players with the better managers will continue to do well.
It won’t, and you’ve not offered one valid reason why it will in the face of all the evidence that supports this.
I actually don’t think Liverpool will play with the same consistency that they did this season. But that’s not because they’ll be upset that they couldn’t celebrate with fans (the fans are the real ones that will be upset).
Not being able to play in front of their fans on a weekly basis will have a far bigger impact.
I do enjoy à good debate, to and fro until a general agreement is reached.

I think the OP has some validity.
Truth is, a lot of the Liverpool players aren’t particularly talented and they do rely on momentum and hard graft.
The likes of TAA, Robertson, Hendo have been riding a wave of momentum.
This forced break will have ceased that. They’re gonna have to start from scratch and will likely get exposed.
Liverpool famously lost momentum in 2014 and 2018.
It could quite easily happen again.
What may have happened, I'm not saying I think this of course, is that the OP has imagined how he may feel were he not to get to celebrate in front of thousands of fans and imparted that on a group of elite sportsman. He then maybe hasn't taken into account how an unprecedented event would also mean rival clubs would be in the same situation other than applying a made up scale of momentum and it's importance on a different season.
It's edgy and it's new.

If every team had momentum then you'd be on the mark.
Fact is the team carrying the most momentum has the most to lose.
Could Liverpool be that team?
Yeah but can they afford to lose some momentum and still come out on top?
I mean if we only lose 185 bits of momentum we'd still have some momentum left over surely?

Here’s a question.
If Liverpool sign Werner this summer and it takes a while for him, and the team, to adapt to each other as they’re looking to freshen up their attack, and as a result Liverpool’s form suffers in the first half of the season, will it really be because they couldn’t celebrate with the fans?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Here's answer. I Liverpool sign someone or not, but don't have the same determination, cutting edge, drive as last season, and finish say third, the we will know the reason why.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Likely a combination of things. Unlikely not celebrating with fans.
Opposition improving is a thing as well. And that is completely out of Liverpool’s hands.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
End of the best season you've ever had being curtailed is not going to effect you whatsoever the following season then.
Hmmmmmm yeah ok then
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Heard the same thing after we missed out on the league last season with a record points total for second place.... we did ok, so forgive me if I dont take your opinion as anything other than a bitter nobody on a public forum
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I won't be able to sleep tonight after this

He talks like momentum is some linear thing in football that is the underlying feature behind a football team.
It’s weird. I’ve never seen anyone talk about a football team like this before. When a team is playing at a level that shows consistency over an extended period of time it’s no longer about momentum.

So you can only have momentum if you're the one winning then?
Surely that would mean the same winners every year?

----------------------------------------------------------------------
I won't be able to sleep tonight after this
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If you're struggling I'd suggest putting on the 1-1 at your place earlier this season.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I could also count the days, weeks or even the years since you last won the league, bit like counting sheep...30 years,360 months or 1562 weeks,if I count the days it will easily last till dawn.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Go for it. Wont be able to do it for too much longer so I'd get in in whilst you can.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Every day that passes means that it's more likely you'll be awarded the league rather than win it.
I'm sure you'll take anything at this stage
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don't get this logic at all
