I think Bamford could well potentially have side-hustles in business. Said before that if he didn’t get into football he’d go into business, indeed he was offered a football scholarship at Harvard when younger studying business. He’s from a family of big businessmen too. Really wouldn’t surprise me if he’s been smart with his money
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This. The guy is clearly smart. That comes across in any interview I've seen with him. He also comes across as a genuinely nice guy.
Not sure why there is such an issue with him having a nice car.

It doesn’t bother me personally, but it does seem a bit mad that someone playing in the Championship is basically driving a multi millionaire level of car.
I’d rather drive the Merc Jeep, though I think they cost a fair whack too....
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He'll be playing in the premier league soon
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Then I will see it as perfectly normal
bit of an over reaction from some about a pro sportsman's car..
What did you expect him to drive?
I think Bamford is on 35k per week, even 15k per week is ample enough to drive a super car. for all some of you know, he might be a total petrol head and his wages go on cars, what else is he supposed to spend it? - what would you do?
must admit though, its not the car I expected when I opened the link.. my mate took a picture on his phone of Bamford driving behind him.. he was in a convertable.
maybe he has two cars
I do know Blankford has been trying to get a brace so with his teeth straightened, his sight restored and a new car...should we expect him to score some goals?
Just shut yer mouth NJS ...
To you and Batty on this thread..
I will love it when Bamford scores a brace, love it

Ladas were never cool. Now if he'd gone for a Rover 3500 Vitesse with its sexy V8 you'd have a point.

Wish he would turn heads by scoring goals.

Why are people so bitter about other people having nice things?
Also seem to be ignoring the fact that his family created one of the most successful British businesses ever and he could have been given the car for his 17th birthday.
Had he not made it as a professional footballer he could easily be earning more money too.

A distant relative of Joseph Bamford, founder of JCB, he was privately-educated, attending the fee-paying Nottingham High School, and can play the violin to Grade 7.
Kamy - I didn't know that about Bamford.. always thought he's really well spoken for a footballer (that sounds worse than its meant)

too late to take that back spanish.
So we've established he's got nice car, nice teeth, well spoken...he can play 'Greensleeves' on his violin, he's a nice guy who could have gone to Harvard...so why are LUFC campaigning to have the goals widened to 60ft and 30ft high...is this just coincidence?
So whats a reasonable level of car?
I mean we wouldnt expect him to be driving a Ford Ka, but if this is too much then there has to be a sort of happy medium.
Also no electric cars... for shame...
