Sibley caught down the leg side.
Denly does it again. Very soft dismissal for 29.
was looking decent as well
38-3 not looking good, bowling nothing special, batting terrible
Could do with a massive 100+ partnership here.
Stop playing odi cricket on flat tracks, and u will start winning test.

Andrew is certainly in the minority. I don't think he's related to Denners.

Alzarri Joseph runs in again to Stokes. I wonder whether Holder might bring himself on against the England skipper.

There's nothing wrong with the shot - he just didn't get it right. He didn't commit to it.

This is what I mean by the lack of real care..Nasser Hussein would have shot Denly for that shot.

150 lead be enough?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'd say 250.
Going about our business nicely. Hopefully these two and rack up some runs as the bowlers tire
Crawley looks like he's ending Denly's test career here.
Come on Crawley please make a century.
Did you see the stat yesterday that stokes is the second fastest to 4000 runs and 150 wickets? Think Kallis got there one game faster.

Not enough time the way we are scoring
I forgot how much moaning can go on during a test match
England have battled hard today, it's what they should have done in the first innings but at least they are putting themselves in a decent position. It's a shame we are heading towards the end of the 4th day rather than the end of the 5th.
Denly despite not getting higher scores has been part of a rebuild of our top order. He's just not been able to cash in on his starts though and batsmen are judged on weight of runs. He's been solid though.

Yeah, I have a lot of time for Joe Denly considering how awful our top order was a couple of years back. He's been a genuinely integral part of the rebuild. Now the lineup looks more solid, though, I think his time is up and we can say goodbye with thanks.

Crawley is set and increasing his strike rate and Stokes looks ready to tee off. The lead is already 130 and there's another hour or so to go tonight. I can't see us only setting 250 though so I think we will declare too late and make the game safe first.
Crawley too. Gonna be a decent last day I sense
Just as things were going well as well 2 quick wickets change things.
Always the way in test cricket. 2 wickets can quickly change the game. All down to Pope, Buttler and Bess to get us to something competitive.
