And in other news, Donald Trump investigated his own presidency and found that he was doing a truly wonderful job.

Nobody is saying they all are. But it is the few/many who openly are racist murdering baztards who cause the problems in the USA. Which is also an inherently racist, gun toting country.

Sort your house out then get back to us. Until then just feck off.

A lot of this comes down to gangs and ghettos which black people are most likely to be part of. The police obviously target gangs, as that's where the crime is, which leads to a higher amount of confrontation with black people.

Until this gangster nonsense is solved, nothing much will change.

I'd imagine most American police want to do good, unfortunately the legal system has put them in such a position of power that those who do have not only racist, but sadistic tendencies, can literally get away with murder.

Never. He’s far too understated and subtle to blow his own trumpet.

Today is #BlackoutTuesday...

A day when people are supposed to stand lockstep against racism on social media and forums like this. A day to raise awareness of racism, educate yourself on why racism is real and encourage others to educate themselves.

Instead you post this garbage.

So, a few cops are the problem?

It is disgusting how people are so willing to label men and women who risk their lives every day, trying to protect people as racists based on the action of a very few.

Welcome to the lives of all minorities.

Also, there is enough actual footage out there showing embedded racism within the police force. To deny that regardless of which 'study' you want to use is ridiculous.

I'm not sure what people expected here - This is not the first preventable death of a black man, this is not the first time they are targeted for being black.

There is inherently a deep racist problem within America, to the point where a Police Officer could be recorded killing a black man without any consequence.

One thing I will say is that there is a huge, huge difference between different police forces across America.

Some are superb and lead the world with their techniques.

Others are a disgrace.

Who made it blackout Tuesday?

I condemn the murder of Floyd and other killings, but let's hold back a bit.

When Isis were killing Christians and yazidis, it went under the radar that now wants special days.

Why is that....is it a trendy thing?

Cops in America represent society, racist and good people and All of us condemn this latest murder and the cop is charged, so what do you want?

Dead cops?

Riots and looting?

Or, justice and peace.

Fair

Watched white cops take the knee, March with protesters, chat and empathize with black activists.

Lumping cops together is no better than lumping black people or Muslims together as one group.

Most if not all white folk call out this murder, as I do from 5000 miles away.

The irony being that you stereotype the entire white police force based on the actions of a few. Ignoring all statistics.

You're the racist one

Stats and numbers can show whatever you want them to do....

2018 (last full year I could find)
Police fatal shootings 1165 of which 26.7% were black; 50.6% were white.
So the police killed twice as many white people as black
So the police force isn’t racist

However the white population of the USA is 62% whilst the black population is 12.7% so if you’re black then you’re 3 times as likely to be fatally wounded by the police, so the police are racist

I have seen today a black woman using her race and the George Floyd movement to personally attack a white woman who has noting to do with it.

Racism works both ways in my eyes.

I'm not sure who specifically created it, but my insta feed is all about it today.

No sensible person wants riots or looting but the truth is, there's no playbook on how to protest.

Some of the images, like the police station up in flames, are uncomfortable but I can't necessarily condemn it.

This is what happens when a community has been disenfranchised for decades. Apart from not killing/targeting innocent people, I'm not going to tell people how to fight back when they've been pushed to the brink.

Studies have been carried, which include actual statistics. Which shows that black people do not get killed on average more than white people from encounters with police.

It is disgusting how people are so willing to label men and women who risk their lives every day, trying to protect people as racists based on the action of a very few.
========================================
I'd like to see where this stats come from. Whites get killed 2x more than blacks but are 5x the black population, which makes blacks around 2.5x more likely to be killed compared to whites.

In this instance you do not understand the meaning of racism. It's not about the KKK going around killing blacks (of course you still have those, but they are minority). This is more of a mental issue where white police officers feel more threatened when they see a black person due to racist stereotype. Which then leads to rough treatment/maltreatment and killing of blacks.

When Lee Rigby was murdered did the media say white soldier killed by 2 black men?

posted on 2/6/20

I doubt they are institionally racist, meaning that they are all racist. But it appears quite a lot are, and even one is too many.
So soon after the murder is a bit insensitive to say the least.

You're using isolated incident. Blacks are mistreated everyday by society and have been for the past 400 years..

Yes. In fact even though the perpetrators were born and grew up here, they were referred to as Nigerians, rather than British.

Also that had nothing to do with race. That was more of religion.

.....

Makes no difference, Racism is Racism whether it is isolated or not or black on white or white on black.

If you think otherwise you are part of the problem.
