Be interesting to see which clubs come back focused and which don't. Like with the start of a season some clubs take a while to get going as we did at the start of this season, lets hope we don't repeat that start.

Wolves drew their prep game 1-1 against Birmingham yesterday

Real danger the form book will go out of the window in these behind closed doors games. They certainly take away all home advantage and in the Bundesliga since it restarted there have now been just over 20% home wins, 25%?draws and over 50% away wins.

It ain’t football as we know it, but it’s better than nothing

And we're BACK !

Difficult to say how the rest of the season will pan out under these circumstances but hopefully despite the conditions we'll have class to come through with the results. I don't doubt that our preparation will be spot on though, hopefully that will give us an extra edge over some if the opposition we'll face. Bring it on.

Oldgold I think you are right. I doubt that there is a squad in the Prem who are more focused, more determined and more strictly trained than the wolfpack.

In that friendly at Blues we evidently fielded a strong team in the first half but went one goal behind. Then lots of subs used after the break and we got a late equaliser through MGW

For the final 9 matches of the season we know the dates and times of the first three;
West Ham away 20th June 17:30
Bournemouth h 24th June 18:00
Villa a 27th June 12:30

The final 6 matches will take place in July. Exact dates, kick off times and tv channels yet to be decided but we play;
Arsenal h weekend of the 4th
Sheff Utd a midweek of the 8th
Everton h weekend of the 11th
Burnley a midweek of the 15th
Palace h weekend of the 18th
Chelsea a 26th July

The plan is then to play the remaining Europa League games in August before the 20/21 season starts in September

interesting vid of compton training - sondergard looks small for a goalie

I'm not taking much notice of these warm cup games, because that's all they are. No official referee's or linesmen and players wearing training shirts. More like training ground practice matches.

Haven't looked to see what the US is doing regarding the games. Hopefully just the usual.

I think one of the key ingredients for a positive re-start is how Jota performs. He sometimes goes off the boil and we suffer because of it but when he hits form we have one of the best attacking trios in the league.

Just reading that in our last game before the lockdown, against Brighton at home, Dendoncker covered 13.21km Which is the highest distance of any premier league player in any game this season. It was the 6th time he had covered over 12km. Puts a shift in!

With the last 6 games starting Saturday I was wondering what the mini league would look like, compared to the previous placings and the final league.
Will be interesting to see what the different form will be.

Hoping Wolves carry on where they left off, not where they started last year.

Expect to see City beat Arsenal tonight but the other game is less easy to call. From a Wolves perspective it would be good if the Blades don't get three points although I read the other day that the only away matches they have lost this season were at Liverpool and Man City. Villa meanwhile are desperate for three points. I'd settle for a draw in that one.

Yes a draw from the Villa - Sheff U game would be acceptable for us. This restart is going to be interesting with all the games concentrated the way they are. It's going to be like a summer tournament. Hadnt realised that the Championship is re-starting this weekend too.

Just hope that all of this activity and travelling doesn't have a negative impact on infection rates and testing keeps returning negatives.
