You basically haven’t got clue what’s going to happen, just like everyone else 👍

We have a back 4 that will have to be replaced.
They are all going, for age or not good enough, or both!.
What will Levy do?
Four more Sanchez's?
We have a questionable midfield with Ndombele never living up to his price or expectations.
And the wrong Fernandez bought for cheap.
We have a CF prone to injury and now in his later years at 27.
We have players who have never really fit in, like Lamela.
And God only knows what unrest is in the ranks?
Maybe Son wants a new opportunity......and who could deny him that, well deserved as it is?
We have a team in transition.
We have a management that is all about the money.
A Spurs fan can only hope that EnIC sells out!

Early September apparently, date yet to be confirmed

On paper we still have an excellent collection of players but so many of the squad have fallen below their previous standards in the last 18 months and that makes it impossible to make any sort of call.

Although this article is about at next season I think the remaining games of this will be very interesting. With a fully fit squad and a nice long break I want to see a dramatic improvememt on the rubbish we have witnessed for the majority of this and last season.

re the OP good morning Sandy.

I think we will peak next season, also bear in mind with the ACON tournament is now looking like it will be pushed back another year to 2022. This will mean no losing Salah/Mane for a 6-8 week early next year.

Regarding spurs the rest of this season could make a real difference to their predicament next season.

I'm talking about Europe, do you go for top 4 and end up in Europa Do you think no Europe and really push domestically

Obviously the goal would be CL however I think you have left too much work do now

Hopefully Spurs and Mourinho can get their act together and move up the table. Will be good to try and take advantage of Liverpool's hangover period.

I know how it will pan out for Spurs.

After a poor end to this season, Jose will keep hold of his job by his fingernails. We will begin next season in dire form and Mourinho will get the boot after 10-12 games, resulting in another season to write off.

You think it can't get worse, just you wait.

That could happen. On the other hand the last 2 PL gigs Mourinho had his teams improved in the league in the second season. I think he used that horse analogy with Chelsea didn't he, to say they weren't quite ready in the first season? Same may apply to us. What we do with our defence is going to be key.

It's hard to defend league Pranks. With Liverpool being as good as they are just to try and overhaul City and win a first title, it would be easy to lose some motivation once they get there. Not to mention City may be more motivated to win it back. Plus improvements from other teams.

I have absolutely no faith. Those last 8-10 games showed me that the players do not share his philosophy. With the exception of Lo Celso, the players just looked confused and lethargic.

I only hope that he goes before the likes of Kane and Son decide they want to.

Our midfield and defence is weak now winks is not good enough fine as a squad player but not the level we need Jan and Toby legs gone aurier a liability Davies not good enough sanchez needs an experienced leader next to him dier not good enough at cb or def mid anymore turns like a sherman tank. playing jms style where opposition has the ball a lot will result in us conceding too many with this team. Standards have dropped since dembele left never filled that gap players like him are hard to find tho on a levy budget. We won't do anything with him in charge.

*Prankster, I read what you've copied and thought straight away Liverpool's form has more to do with Klopp than anything, he's doing exactly the same as he did at Dortmund, he is a class trainer and would improve anyone he managed!..

Dortmund fans would love to have him back!..

And City and others making improvements, I cant see the Liverpool board not backing Klopp to continue what he's started!..

We were missing our 2 best players under him to be fair. Take out those 2 and our team actually isn't that much, going on form.

Well we were missing Kane for last 9 games and Son for last 4. We were playing terrible football with these guys in the team as well.

Maybe i'm wrong and we will tear it up for the rest of the season now everyone is fit. What I do know is that Jose no longer has any excuses.

Ok, you had me with our two best players missing. But i'm not having Sissoko as one of our best.

Anyway, plenty of teams we played had players of Sissoko's importance missing.
