They never really spend the really big bucks. Just a model where they buy players for like £40-60 million and get Pep to do his thing.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
i hear this from their fans, but i'd say they haven't spent that kind of money yet, but i doubt they have a moral objection to it. if you can spend £60m on a RB, it's an odd moral stance to refuse to spend £100m on a 20 year old forward.
i seem to have read that there was an issue between him and pep when he left, but no idea whether that is irreparable or not, whether either manager or player much cares.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Tbf if they ever were gonna spend £100 million on a player it wouldn’t be on a player that left for just £8 million.
Who do they think they are? Us? 😂
City won’t spend £100m on an attacker when they can use that to sign two £50m defenders that aren’t that good.
Evening folks.
Should be a decent showing from us tonight right?

Prem, really hope so after the last game, nothing worse than having hopes raised then shot down next game, think it will be a win though

That's what I like to think, last game the team were great, any player coming in must realise what thetbgave to do if they want to play, good performance can help raise standards throughout the squad

The players know if they don't perform tonight, They won't be in the squad for the Brighton game.
I would personally would have preferred Pogba in this starting line up over Bruno. Gotto to preserve the squad over the remainder of the season.

Not for me, Don't want to risk him.
Watching Bruno since he came in a couple of things have sorta surprised me, firstly his work rate, very impressive, secondly how much he talks, encourages and gees his team mates up?
Throw in a load of skill and he's a player
