Honestly think klopp is the main difference in your team. You have some very good players, and sone quite average ones, but klopp has the saf touch in squeezing an extra 10% out of them. He really is an outstanding manager. He’s done an incredible job.
Baz, did you see the article about the scientists and performance analysts?
Yes Klopp is an outstanding manager and the reason for that is he isn’t closed to ideas and stuff. He takes on new ideas and methodologies..

City are one of the best teams to play in this league but we've harangued, harassed and chased them down relentlessly and its taken its toll on them, their air of invincibility is not as ominous as it used to be. At the moment they look a bit broken and haven't been the same since their bus got frijjed to be honest.

Come on you can’t put it down to that. It may be that their squad needs refreshing, Klopp is a manager that players want to play for though. I would say he was a major factor in VVD coming to us rather than going to City.
Last season we took every last drop out of City and they’re paying for it now. We’ve mentally scarred them which has led them to losing as many games this season and we have in the past 3 combined.
No doubt City will throw a load of cash to try and fix their defensive woes but with their record of spending big on defenders I’m not overly worried

No I didn’t see it and I would have expected klopp to go way beyond, he’s that type of manager. Probably the worlds best right now, and because of his ability and vision to look beyond the norm.. I’ll give it a read
You have to give credit to Liverpool. Two seasons ago City won the league at a canter. Last season was close but City came out on top. This season Liverpool have won at a canter.
Liverpool, in the space of a couple of seasons have overturned a points deficit and effectively doubled it. An incredible achievement.
Of course, the fact that so few teams are able to win three titles on the trot plays a part, and City haven’t been able to do that. And Liverpool took advantage of that this season. They have been relentless. It would take a special ream to overcome City, and Liverpool are currently a special team.
Add to that the Champions League and the lesser “token” trophies (world champions cup and super cup) and it’s been a remarkable few seasons for Liverpool.
Your note to City is, well, noted. It is now up to City to respond next season. A lot of that depends on the outcome of the UEFA appeal of course.
But credit where it is due. Liverpool are worthy winners and have a great spirit about the club and in Klopp have a manager who won’t want to rest on his laurels. He will want to go again. It’s now Liverpool who everyone else have to catch.

We’ve won 2 leagues and 3 domestic cups since frijj gate, if that’s “not being the same” any chance you can do it again for our next game?! 😂
Or have you moved on from busses to ambulances now 👀
Kobe of klopps best wine was in the fullback area. Converted taa into a right back who combines some great attacking play with some superb vision, Even if still a bit defensively suspect. And Robertson, who had gone from part time tesco shelf stacker to dun utd, to Hull, where you could see he had the ability to be good, but klopp has turned him into the leagues best left back, maybe the worlds (Marcelo is over the hill now). And those two are massively important, there’s not many teams who have wingers that cause the damage those two do.
They are crucial to Liverpool’s success imo.

it’s a long read but your mind gets blown away when you get to the bit when they say the boffins are CERN scientists and astrophysicists.
“Kobe of klopps best wine was in the fullback area.”
Eh? what do you mean?
Liverpool have their form on from last season and got their reward. We’ve had some problems off the pitch, but I’d argue the main factor this year is our back four is barely top 4 material. Laporte is the only one in the world class bracket, Walker does ok, at LB we’ve had one hit wonder seasons out of Delph and Zinchenko, but nothing doing this year, and in the middle it’s dropping Fern back with a choice of those two 5hitbirds Stones or Otamendi. Incomparable to Liverpool’s back four tbh, were still scoring enough goals to be champions, but we need to tighten up at the back before that happens again.
Liverpool have carried their form from last season*
Now it’s LFC setting the standard, and it looks like the points total to aim for at the start of next season is again going to be 100+
-------------------------------
You matched City's performance over the past 2 seasons. What you are doing is not a new or higher standard IMO. Just as good as City. A new standard would be literally winning all your matches in a whole season. Anything less is what City and Liverpool are doing now.
It’s of a slightly higher standard Buggerof. Having to incorporate the world club cup as well as carrying on in every competition and set to break the points record.
Hang on hang on.. someone voted this 1 star?
Dafuq ?!
The World Cup is two games. No more or less. “Having to incorporate it”. Give over.
Last season, winning the domestic treble was a higher standard than what Liverpool have achieved this season.
Do that next season.
It’s two games but it’s still a chunk of time out of the season and a load of travelling.
Anyway splitting hairs there before it degenerates even further. Cup competitions you have the luck of the draw. Everton were lucky enough to be drawn against our kids this season.
Going to be interesting to see what Chelsea and United do next year and if they can bridge the gap.

That will be interesting, there’s not enough points to go around (yep I know there is mathematically, but realistically) for three teams to get 95+ points.
As much as the points tallies we’ve both been getting have been incredible as well, personally I hope 100 points doesn’t become the new normal for title winners.
Load of travelling? A chunk of your season?
Hyperbole.
The competition was played over 4 days. It was 6-7 days or so out of your season when taking travelling into account. A chunk. Do me a favour.
Don’t big up the Club World Cup in to something that it simply isn’t. You don’t need to do that.
And it’s not splitting hairs. Just saying it for what it actually is.
Well we can differ on that point. If the club World Cup doesn’t make a season easier then the opposite must be true.
