Fancy thinking one of the best forward lines on the planet needs to be replaced as soon as they hit 30. Oh and we didn't furlough our staff.

It does, Liverpool need to learn from the great teams of the past. You can't stand still, you need to constantly improve or you'll end up in schitsville again.

The rest is similar to what I said earlier. Their frontline didn’t cost a lot so they’ll need to replicate that over the coming 2-3 years and do similar in the midfield. Not needing to sign 3 forwards and 3 midfielders but 1 or 2 at a time, easing the change gradually.

will he leave it too late and not get top coin and then have to hope he can unearth a gem?
again its speculation based solely on FSG historic purchasing practices.

lets just try a simple task for our friends down the m62, can they answer simple questions?
1. are your 3 main strikers approaching 30 and thus needing to be replaced in 2 years?
2. do you have any quality up front on your bench?
3. does 3 of your 5 midfielders need to be replaced within 18 months?
4. have you historically had to sell to buy?
5. given you had to furlough staff to survive and you've lost your CL prize money and just signed a kit deal with a guaranteed revenue of 33% less than current, coupled with no match day revenue for final 1/3 of season left you worse of financially over the summer?
maybe after you review these questions and answer honestly in your head you'll realize just how silly you are being
----------------------------------------------------------------------
1. We are we replacing our 28 year old forwards in two years? Do players suddenly become crap when they hit 30?
2. If we're using wild speculation and guessing like you are then ill say Elliott replaces Salah and we buy for the other two positions, obviously this will happen over time and it won't be three out and three in just because they've hit 30. This isn't Logan's Run <laugj>
3. No three of our midfielders don't need to be replaced in 18 months. Again this isn't Logan's Run. Replacements will happen over time and whilst we're speculating those replacements could happen within, without even needing to buy, we have Keita and Ox, Jones has looked like a big prospect, TAA could move into midfield, Williams who has also looked a big prospect into right back.
4. No we haven't had to sell to buy but even if we did, we've sold and bought very well.
5. We didn't furlough staff.
Your points are stupid.

I'm genuinely excited by Jones and Elliot. The latter in particular has world class potential. Brewster doing really well on loan, I like him a lot.
I think we'll continue being very savvy in the market but this isnt the 1980's. Players play well inyo their 30's and seeing as Mane and Salah are devout Muslims who don't drink and have had no major injuries I think we'll get a bit of football out of thrm yet.

Ronaldo doesn't drink and takes immaculate care of himself but even he had to stop being a wide forward some years back. Those 2 aren't on his level.
not saying they cant adapt and become useful in different roles but that doesn't suit Klopps tactics does it. he has always believed in extreme pace down the wings going back to dortmund

Liverpool have spent over £700,000,000 on transfers. I know we got a good deal on Coutinho but...

lets just try a simple task for our friends down the m62, can they answer simple questions?
1. are your 3 main strikers approaching 30 and thus needing to be replaced in 2 years?
2. do you have any quality up front on your bench?
3. does 3 of your 5 midfielders need to be replaced within 18 months?
4. have you historically had to sell to buy?
5. given you had to furlough staff to survive and you've lost your CL prize money and just signed a kit deal with a guaranteed revenue of 33% less than current, coupled with no match day revenue for final 1/3 of season left you worse of financially over the summer?
maybe after you review these questions and answer honestly in your head you'll realize just how silly you are being
----------------------------------------------------------------------
