Sorry are you running this forum?? I didn't realize this was a dictatorship. Perhaps I should publicly apologise for writing an article expressing my free opinion on a matter concerning our great sport. Why not comment on the subject matter instead of getting abusive??

to be fair this is arab... likes to throw around the words pikey and nonce... yet runs to admin when people mention his culture in a way he doesnt like.

He has proven over the last 5 years or so that he is an elite level holding midfielder. Deceptively good footballer too. He is like a more well rounded and polished version of Fabinho, who is clearly good but has too many bad games and looks uncoordinated too often.
The never had any pace to lose therefore won’t decline theory is one of the worst arguments fans make.
Berbatov, RVP and Mata all apparently had no pace to lose but all declined severely after the 30 mark.

If this news had been posted in January, the place would have melted down ... amazing what a few good games does (and vice versa, now Fred and McT are looked down on as squad players at best).
My view of Matic hasn't changed since before we signed him... He's a good player but not quite up to 50+ games a season. Play him in a select 20-25 games and he can be very effective.
