I don't thing I've seen a single other JA606 poster write as much deluded chit as Nick over the years and he lingers around Arsenal topics like a fly around the former too.

It's bad enough having to trawl through his deluded half-baked attempts at debating the wrong-side of the argument which he never fails to pick but then having to read his little extra comments to blow smoke up Chelsea's 'arris at every attempt he gets on totally unrelated topics.

I wish I could take credit for whoever it is you have in mind, and thank you, but sadly who you speak of is not mewith a heavy heart I have to tell the truth. Just a quick skim and only about 2 of my last topic visits on here, out of the last 50 or so, are arsenal topics. Apologies.

A shame though because it seems like whoever your thinking of is in your head as much as I am. Rent free.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No it's you, stop trying to tip-toe around the truth of who you really are. Be honest with yourself for once in your life. Be better.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
lolafh doth protest too much. Go through my article history you dunce. Hardly any arsenal topics over hundreds of articles. I’ve never met or had a conversation with you before. I am flattered though. Good to be looked up to.

Your memory is as dire as your football knowledge then
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It’s not memory. You can literally click on people’s username and tells you the articles they been on.give it a go. Good luck kiddo x

Your memory is dire as I said, I'm not going to bother explaining why because you'll just forget again.

Perhaps you suffer from Amnesia?

Or maybe it's a natural self-protection for your brain to forget about the times I and others have embarrassed you on Arsenal topics in the past.

Why are you so interested in Arsenal topics? Closet Arsenal fan in denial as I said.

Multi posts like I said click on my username and you can see that your making stuff up to cover up you paranoia and affection towards whoever you think I am.

Go to click on my username. Then comments and click all comments I believe. It will bring up a list for you. happy hunting my boy

Then proceeds to multi-post himself

Fml.

Done talking to you, amnesia patient.

It's really no surprise that your brain i.e. You, has 'conveniently misplaced' your former embarrassing episodes on topics with myself and others in the past. It fits your profile exactly, someone who is totally clueless and thinks himself clever because he's around every time to argue against pure logic, reason and facts with some utter deluded tripe.

You are the only one lying, countless times I've put you in your place on Arsenal topics in the past few years as have other members.

But you still keep coming back and talking the same old chit, I guess you are a gluten for punishment or a closet Arsenal fan.

Whatever you need to tell yourself to feel better and massage your little ego though, go ahead. We all know the truth.

Sad little runt.

He probably didn’t mean it but he just throws his left leg out hoping to catch the ball or the player. Dangerous play.

Clutching at straws there aren’t you? You can see it’s completely accidental. Vardy was quick to offer up help as soon as it happened

If you send off Vardy for that then you send off people for clashing heads in the air, but they don't.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What utter tripe a swinging leg is NOT the same as two players going for the same ball
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I thought intention had nothing to do with it but yes they're not the same. Dangerous accidents though.

If people want to make it up as they go along that's fine but there is a reason he wasn't sent off and it's nothing to do with a conspiracy, it's because it was an accident and not of the result of an action ala Nkieta (sp).
----------------------------------------------------------------------

This is a common lack of understanding regarding sending off offences that I see on this site. (This comment and others on this thread)

I think the properly address these two incidents you need to understand the laws properly.

Vardy is being accused of violent conduct and that would require intent.

Nketiah would almost certainly have been sent off for serious foul play, which can only occur when challenging for the ball.

Personally, in real time I didn’t think either were red card offences.

But it’s certainly debatable and a matter of opinion.

Slow motion replays are proven to increase the perception of intent, and so it makes me uncomfortable watching the Vardy incident in that way and then coming to a conclusion.

With Nketiah you can watch the incident in slow mo and look to see how much danger you think the challenge generated. I was surprised to see it overturned but perhaps the referee felt he saw something on the replay that he hadn’t originally.

posted on 8/7/20

What's extremely obvious from the replays is actually the following:

Nketiah only had eyes for the ball and withdrew his leg a little when he realised he was about to make contact with the player in order not to hurt him, it was entirely accidental.

Vardy had a look at Mustafi's position before he flicked his leg round and out like that and it was deliberate, not accidental.

Nketiah's was not a good challenge, he mistimed it, misjudged it, was late, missed the ball and caught the player but it was hardly a leg-breaker or violent conduct.

If you're not even going to review what Vardy did which was much more malicious then you don't review what Nketiah did and tell the ref to overturn his yellow with a red.

This type of incident is nothing short of a corrupt travesty.

posted on 8/7/20

As I literally just said, intent is irrelevant for Nketiah because he would have been sent off for serious foul play.

The two incidents are completely different and should be reviewed separately.

As ever, there should also be respect for the fact that it’s subjective, and statements of fact are rarely accurate on these subjects.

posted on 8/7/20

You're missing the point of course.

If Nketiah's foul was accidental/unintentional (which it clearly was) then it never warranted a red card for serious foul play.
