i've got no desire to blame anyone at all, though i see the usual pogba bashers are frothing at the mouth to blame it all on him.

but i see you have no actual answer to my question other than "ask ole", so i guess we're laying all the blame on the mganager.

You literally said i would blame de gea more than pogba for that, if you can't actually criticise a player for something rubbish instead of resorting to the standard your player bashing you lose credibility, anyone else blame anyone other than pogba for that 1st goal, just curious

go and look at the replay, watch where pogba is when DDG kicks it, and watch where the two southampton players nearest to pogba are, then ask if you really want your GK passing to a player who is 2 yards outside his area.

i'm not saying ddg is solely to blame, nor that pogba bears no blame, but to me it's a simple risk/reward issue, there is a high risk of that pass going wrong, and almost zero chance of getting a tangible benefit from it.

so if ole is telling pogba to sort it out, i'd hope he's also telling DDG just to kick it long the next time he is faced with that choice.

that's the thing, if it was the first time DDG had ever played such a dodgy pass, i wouldn't mention it. but he's done it quite a few times before, and for some reason the outfielder always cops the flak.
