Agree Wakey, and I know France is really unhappy now. Affects their allocations to European competitions as far as I know but I don't know the details.
Holland were only one game away from completion though, weren't they?

it deserved. And for us, if we do go up, no one can
bitch about how it was given to us. All in all, good.
Things have to adapt. There are some people who just seem to think we should be in complete lockdown forever until there is a vaccine. All that does is collapse the economy and lead to social unrest.
Football is whatever form is better than no football. I think it's been great and showed it's possible. Next step is to get fans back into stadiums and that should be done for the start of next season. Start with just season ticket holders, maybe on a split basis (so you get to go to every other game to keep the numbers at manageable level), refreshments and beer served to seats like in American sports, have different arrival slots and exit slots to manage numbers in and out.
Disappointed in the Leeds crowdies - expected more from them... been so quiet it’s like watching arsenal.
Any football is better than no football so obviously glad they did it... but the lack of atmosphere knocks large chunks off the spectacle for me. Need some kind of crowd cgi to Make it work better.
With planning and well thought out processes, crowds can be reintroduced. However, anyone watch the scenes at Griffin Park after Brentford's game today?
They showed people in the stands, presumably staff, directors and players' family members, in groups with no masks! I did not see one mask between them all!
Can 10,000 fans (about 25% capacity) be trusted to respect distancing, masking, etc?
I wanted the football to start back up for no other reason than I wanted Leeds to have a chance at promotion. Watching other games has been somewhat tiresome without the atmosphere, but I still watch the Leeds games with the same trepidation and excitement.....looks like we may get the rewards we so dearly wanted. I don’t see why some fans couldn’t be let back in soon, considering what’s going on in other parts of everyday life.
How many are the Russians letting in? Just 10% capacity?
It has gone quite well, it was the correct decision to play the season out. Hoping for us and Brentford to go up and Wigan to stay up. Might be a good time to do some redeveloping, could be a long time before 35,000 fill Elland Road again.

yeah thought the same, in fact didn;t Holland say 'no pro sport' at all until vaccine?
people too quick to panic, sometimes best to sit back and watch - see how things pan out
We have developed a good model for football, and there are still massive concerns about wider society and this coming winter. I don't see large crowds being allowed for until we have a vaccine - so this is here for a while
The Virus has changed everything life had before, but when two enemies can come together and pass a bit of time on a battlefield, it just goes to show Football can help at times!..
Could be argued that most sports could help, but we're now finding sometimes things have to be put in place for the safety of all!..
